TI MAP -----> LAG? or just me?

I am doing mid TI, it's very damn laggy it took me a full 5-10 secs to cast my skill!!! then if i am lucky i can cast in about 2-3 secs after i click the damn button..........................

 

 

DOES THIS HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS??

Yea I dc like every 5min only in low TI, it's crazy x.x 

Mostly likely because it's 1.5x exp so everyone is in TI

Yes. It used to happen me a lot when I was using my homun, but then I activated the LagReduction option and everything fixed. Sometimes I get lag spikes but nothing like before. It was terrible.

I don't it's because of the people doing TI. I just went to Mid TI, i only saw 2-3 parties + 5-7 people at entrance....

 

if the server can't handle that..... it's ridiculous! I would understand if we have like 100 people in TI map, but not 40-50 people...

All TI maps are on the same server. The low TI map is always full of people.

If it's cause of the amount of people piling on a map, how did they even managed to handle the immense amount of players back when it first released ?

It's not just because of the number of people. After all, Prontera always has hundreds of people online and never lags (except when they decide to summon MVPs). It's because you have a thousand monsters and hundreds of people, homunculi, mercenaries, etc. all interacting, walking, using skills, dropping loot, and so on.

The game and code were also much less complex in 2003.

Do I lag? If I do then the monster should also lagging on my point of view but they didn't

IMO disable drops for the monsters that week. IDC if it disables the drops of the real monster, no one freaking goes there!

This isn't lag; it's the server being too busy to handle your rolling cutter packets in real time, so you spend the next 10 seconds unable to do anything because that's how long it takes the server to work through the queue.

use los angeles server 1 for best gameplay when you set it up

 

it might be as good such as WTFast or lowerping

 

but out off all the other services ive tried using for free..

this comes good in all areas

 

- you only get disconnected after every 1 hour

- otherwise unlimited time to use

^ Pingzapper, wtfast and lowerping won't help. Its server side, we players can't do anything about it. Unless gravity decides to host the lowest turn-in on it very own dedicated server, lag will persists.

You can also beg them to dedicate a server to the low TI, but I've been doing that for a long time without success.

There has forever been lag in RO.

 

It's a freaking Korean game... not like it was made in USA.

 

They just adopted it like a cheap perfume.

 

To expect the game to perform is like asking a 70 year old midget to run a marathon.

 

Just... stop asking for things, really stop... it's annoying.

 

Swipe your credit card, win, and log out, like the rest of us.

 

And play your 2.5 Dimensional game.

 

Oh and pretend you found love in a video game, that's important.
