Question about fighting Sera

I was in PvP the other day, fighting a Gen who pulled out their Sera and Summoned Legion (Vespas) to get me out of melee range.

 

As I was playing my Oboro at the time, the mob caused CSS to proc and I went flying backwards, promptly entering Hide state to rethink my strategy.

 

Here's the problem though, Sera's and her Legion followed me and continued attacking while I was hidden, proccing CSS once again and throwing me backwards.

 

I doubt it was lag that caused me to hide later than was visually relayed, as this happened several times under different circumstances.

 

Can anyone provide insight as to why Sera was able to target me in Hide state?

The legion is insect type, it can see through hide.

 

Was the Sera itself able to chase you? I know it's insect type, but I'd be impressed if the designers had thought to make the API smart enough to provide extra info to the AI for Sera homun - showing/not showing hidden things is entirely client-side in RO.

Interesting.

 

The Sera was following me, but I didn't see it enter the attack state (though the legion was making it hard to tell). It was positioning itself 1 cell adjacent to me each time CSS pushed me backwards, despite my being hidden.

 

To anyone reading this with edit privs on iW (my account is pending confirmation), please note this:

 

 

Sera summons a group of insects to attack a single enemy. The skill ends if the summoned monsters' HP reaches 0 or after a preset duration, whichever happens first. If the target dies, teleports, or hides, the summoned monsters will attack other targets that the Geneticist is attacking. If the Geneticist is not attacking other targets, they will instead attack the Geneticist until skill ends.

 

On Summon Legion. It appears to need amendment.

Aaaha! Okay, that makes sense. So the game is giving the AI the location of the hidden player apparently (The AI has no way to know if a player is hiding, except that the client normally gives their position as -1,-1 - it sounds like here that's not happening).
