...well, still high novice but better to plan first before doing anything.

Also, please note that I do not plan (yet) on spending alot of Zenny for this character, so no "+12 BxB with bosscardz plz" suggestion! Thats why i added "unfunded" on my topic!

Most likely, I will just solo on field maps till 100~110. Might also go to an occasional TI if the connection likes me. I'm going for PvM only, might go with MVP but might not happen. PvP/WoE lags me too much.

Currently I have the following gears to use, most of it comes from my main:

Archer set with +7 Poaching Hunter bow

Morrigane's Set / Lamp costume / Fortune Sword / Cat Hand Glove of Flash / Autumn Leaves

+7 Triple Stun Double Bound

+4 Rudra's Bow

+9 High Level HBP

+4 Wise RWH

+4 Nid Garb

BSB + Shackles combo

I can buy an Upgraded Elven Bow when the time comes, not sure what to card it though. I also have access to Mora Village for Elven/Hunting Arrows. Maybe WWset too, since I have over a hundred Mora Coins on my main which I do not have any idea what to do with it after getting a Nab Ring with decent enchants.

Regarding stats, if I were to go Hybrid, what would be the preferred stats for it? I think Pure AS stat allocation is obvious, so I wouldn't ask for that.

As for the skills, someone already posted at the other thread about it, so it should be a good reference to me whether which skills are useful or not, since the post is new. Other suggestions are accepted as well.

Thanks for reading, and suggestions are appreciated!

if unfunded, 100% full as. mainly to level up first and gather funds when u have good as and can farm items

with crap gears AS still one hit kills all mobs in low and mid ti. if u hyrbid.u wont do as well. besides u will need to be well.funded to be good as autowarg and to have high aspd.

but.if u still want to do hybrid then u will have to.savrifice the large vit a full as build.has for agi. might still.not.be enough for good agi. might have to keep.dex at 99 for a while till higher level

Thanks. Then its +1 for the pure AS. Hoping for the pros to chime in as well.

How do you train from Archer > Sniper as a pure AS build anyway? Spam DS and AS? Traps + DS?

yes, arrow shower with a healer(or self heal like wph) on mobby areas.

on the following areas.

1-12 poring/spores

12-20+ payon cave 1

20+-30 ant hell 1

30+-40/45/50 orc village (gef_fild10)

45-56 Orc Dungeon1

56-71 maneater/sticky webfoot

70-85 Low TI, Earth Petite, Spotlight areas if possible.

85-99 Low TI or spotlight.

some of the maps might get too crowded at a certain point. unfortunately i can't find alternative leveling spots.

also, i would like to suggest a Bow Guardian Card, but the price spiked up for some time.

with bow guardian card though, your arrow shower and double strafe damage will be almost the same.

with high level equips and endows/buffs you can one shot some of the monsters, making it like a mini-arrow storm for lower levels.

Noted about the Bow Guardian card, looks like a great card! Thanks for the levelling spots as well!

Bought an Archer Guardian Card... abit expensive but maybe worth it. Should I put it on a Hunter bow?

if you can´t afford a second one yes but if no i recommend you to buy another one buy a gakkung bow with 2 slots and put them there, why? becuase putting in a hunter bow obligates you to use hunter arrows also can only be used for hunters in the other way if you put in in a gakkung bow you can now use the diferent types of arrows (including the one that put some negative stats like the frozen ones) and can be used in early levels and also its more versatile (and you don´t have to spend money on converters).

if you are poor, pure AS is the way to go. As you have more zeny and can afford aspd/critical gears, go with "hybrid" autowarg/As build. i mean, its not really hybrid because i would normally get 90 ish dex for my autowarg build.

I already started pure AS build, and it is fun one-hitting mobs and kiting as well. I've always been on an agi-class character and this is new for me :heh: I like it because its not making me sleepy.

I only have one problem though, when my Sniper gets mobbed, since I'm abit lagging I do not know the exact position of the mobs, and I do not have backslide to re-position the mobs properly. p_sad.gif So I usually end up teleporting instead.

Thank you for telling me this. I didn't know that I can use a converter for Bows so I gave it a shot earlier. I got level 46-72 at byalan 5 in about an hour or two, non VIP, 1-hitting mobs there, so much fun! p_laugh.gif

Although I brought a priest to follow me and just switch windows when I need to buff.

I'll probably just buy another Hunter Bow and put the Bow Guardian card there since I won't lose much damage if I don't use the Archer Set, I think I might deal more instead, because the set can be replaced with BSB+Shackles combo and a +9 HBP (I already have 90 base dex).

I also have alot of Converters in my storage, because last time I'm silly enough to think they also last 30 minutes like Endow, and I also have an Endow Slave and alot of Elemental Stones in case my Converters ran out.

------

I had a somewhat different levelling spots though. I did this with my Falconer, and it seems it is still effective even with 1 agi so I still went through with this route:

1-13 Rockers

14-30 Ant Eggs

31-40 Orc Village / Orc Dungeon 1 (only trained at OD1 for a short time because it is hard to make the Orc Zombies group together while taking Orc Skeleton damage)

41-46 Groves

47-present Byalan 5 (for spotlight and too much Merman exp :heh: will edit it as I level)

As a sniper, I think fly wing is the only way out of mob but I guess using arrow shower with bow guardian card would also be effective with hunter bow. When you turn ranger. Warg ride them warg strike(while riding warg) could help change your position in PVP/PVM. You can also use camouflage in certain situations. If you can afford speed pots then it also helps.

Already reached 83, without getting any parties in low TI, because no one wants a sniper :heh:

*goes back to TI surface*

do the eden board quest, it's a nice alternate for pre 85.

hunter class is one of the easiest to level pre-3rd class

you can mob at earth petites to level 85.

icarus wings, bowman's scarf, and ulle's cap (with odin's) lets you cast falcon eyes and arrow shower much more.
