Some questions for anyone who's done this fight.

 

Once you kill Bangungot and her spirit appears, sometimes when we kill the spirit she doesn't die and no loot drops. She just gets back up. Did we simply run out of time? Do we have to kill the flying mobs in the room too? Cuz we're sure the spirit exploded (the elder willow sprite) so dunno if that should mean we ran out of time. :s

 

Seems like a semirandom occurrence, was wondering if anyone experienced something similar.

you have like 30 seconds to kill the spirit (the willow) if you dont do it in that time, bangungot will appear again

Yeah, we kinda figured, but don't understand why it explodes (that should mean we killed it, right?) but Bangu appears anyway. :v

Indeed it is. I assume when something explodes it's killed/destroyed. Was wondering about that part. :v

It is destroyed at the end of 60 seconds.So its death doesn't necessarily mean you killed it in time.

Is not 60 seconds, the wiki is wrong (somebody should fix that tho)

 

I managed to kill it a couple times solo but its too much effort tbh, you can always bring a friend/alt tho (ranger with 193aspd or maestro with berserk guitar)

Nope. maestro with berserk guitar is a bad idea. I tried it before with my maestro before realising that the pillar has high agi/flee

Oh god,just fixed a horrible grammatical error.

 

Also you can solo it with summon flora level 2.

last time I tried, summoning hydras wasn't enough

With auto cast gears of course.The summoned plants' attacks are considered extensions of your own.

if u are using hydras to kill it w/o any auto cast gear, u better be prepare to kill that fat lady 3 or 4 times to actually get that pillar down.

If you do it with CD in mouth, then it's around 2 times u need to kill bangungot.

She is not really that hard anyway.

I'm pretty sure you have the kill the pillar in one sitting, otherwise it respawns with full HP the next time you kill the body...
