Does afking and letting the Homuns do all the work in Low-Ti, work in Mid-Ti?

Not usually. More difficult monsters and fewer players mean that you usually only see a couple of genes with decently leveled homuns guarding the spawn point, and a flock of rangers.

No, the monsters are usually too much for a homun to handle.

even if there is a full 12genes with 12 Homu S with AOE skills?

Depends on the monsters, mobbiness, and the homun and levels thereof, and how well optimized the ai configs are

I have tried this before with 2Eleanors, 2Seras, and 1Bay and it was good if the monsters aren't too aggressive. I was camping at the spawn when I did this.
