Hi

Im at lv97 with Pala, and im looking for quest that gives good exp (more than 100k base). Irowiki quest table have a few quest, and they give very low exp, so... exist any quest that gives more (level easy-medium, prefereably no party needed)? (I did the Eye of Hellion quest and Brasilis Murder Mystery)

Do the board quests. Most of them give 100k+ base exp. http://irowiki.org/w...sts#Level_91-99

You can also try the new bounty quests but I'm not sure how to do that coz I havent checked.

You can do the Nameless Island quests too but some of them are quite long.

http://irowiki.org/w...ost_Child_Quest

http://irowiki.org/w...Sanctuary_Quest

http://irowiki.org/w...ion_Myth_Quest)

http://irowiki.org/w..._Siblings_Quest

http://irowiki.org/w..._Entrance_Quest

There are also some New World Quests that may be hard or not...depending on you:

http://irowiki.org/w...Finding_a_Fairy (easy to get to the fairy...getting to the giant could be hard at level 97.)

http://irowiki.org/w...f_the_Wise_King

But actually, I think it's easier to level if you just stay on one field and slay monsters instead of doing quests. 100k exp is just like about 30 anacondaqs if I remember right...and killing 30 is quite easy. Thats if all you want is to level. If you want to explore and have fun, then do quests.

There is nothing else that goes along with your description unfortunately.

Source: I've done every(permanent)quest in the game on at least two classes/characters already....

Oh, because you certainly wouldn't bother with a quest for the narrative.

It needs to GIVE you something. Something tangible.

And people wonder why there aren't any story-driven quests being submitted and implemented :v

I used to keep stuff like this exclusively for my own guild. My point of view has changed a little, so I'm going to go ahead and share what I used to only share with my guildies. I think it'll do good for the game in the long run. Please consider joining Pagans in Al De Baran, if you found these guides useful.

Non-Repeatables

  • Criminal Activities: very high exp quest for basically just talking. You can plow through all the killing parts of this quest and it rewards you just fine.

  • Eye of Hellion*: earn a mediocre slotted accessories and good exp from this quest. you can buy the Eye of Hellion from a player on the market and skip the killing part for extra exp.

  • Brasilis Murder Mystery: this is a rather buggy quest, but the rewards are good. No killing required, other than surviving the mean mobs in the fields. You may consider tacking on Lost Puppies quest just once while you do this near step 21, Lost Puppies isn't worth doing on its own, but it's practically right there alongside this quest.

  • Ragnarok Tactics Tie-In Quest: This quest is rumored to be gone soon when they discontinue Ragnarok Tactics game. Might as well do it and get the free hat from it.

  • Koschei the Immortal*: I know the reward says 100k on the wiki. I don't know if it was a bug or not, but I personally got 1 mil exp when I did this as a Master Smith. I encourage you to try it out. If you feel the prerequisite quest is lame, Moscovia in general is worth going to, because of the loots they drop are very profitable.

  • Amatsu Dungeon Entrance: on top of the dungeon access and exp, you're rewarded a free Eden Merit Badge, which can be used to buy select few Kafra Cash items.

  • Rachel Santuary and Lost Child: these are just talk-only quests. I grouped Lost Child together with Rachel Sanctuary Entrance Quest, because you have to do Lost Child first. You do have to go through some dangerous fields at parts.

  • Eye of Beholder: Another quest that rewards Eden Merit Badge on top of sizable exp. Might as well do all of Lost Child, Eye of Beholder, and Rachel sanctuary when you're there at Rachel IMO.

*These quests have accesses to special dungeons that are Exp free on deaths. A low tier class may want to consider leaving them open and grind at those dungeons, since completing the quests will block the access to them.

Repeatables

  • Midgard Ore: the reward on wiki says 230k job, but I personally get 700k job per run. I am not really sure if the information on the wiki is correct, I forgot how much I got when I did it, but it was more than that when I did it.

  • Pyramid Challenge Dungeon: the mobs here are basically uber champions of their normal ones. The reward is 200k job per set and base exp a bit more than that but I forget how much. I think 500k ea. Skip the 2nd floor one until you get to your 3rd classes. The cat warns you if you're too low level, but he doesn't stop you from doing the quest.

  • Amatsu Blue Harvest: Get rewarded three or four level 10 food per day at random. These items are the cash item version, so they weigh only 1 each. I recommend that you just buy the necessary loot from the local player ninja guild(Blue Lotos Clan) instead of farming on your own, and just skip the Louyang Ambassador because that particular NPC makes you hunt.

  • Strange Hydra: Get 3x free, non-tradable light potions per day for seconds of your time. A strategy is to have a warper slave memo this place for you, or save at the town and use butterfly wings to cut down the ferry cost.

  • Port Malaya Dailies: these are enabled from level 100 and on, but you can go ahead and get rid of the very easy prerequisite quest done now. You may require a high flee type character, or Soul Linker character to do these quests easily. Cautious Village is the required quest. The dailies are Can't Look Into His Eyes, Get Rid of Jejeling, Ghost on the Ferry Ship, Jejeling and Jejelopy, Marie's Child, Purified Bones, Shiny Blade, The Old Man and Cast Iron Cauldron, and Traditional Spiritual Protection & Impudent Girl are the repeatable quests, for total reward of 2m job and base exp for non VIP. My long time partner "GodAss" the Guillotine Cross is an expert at speed running these, ask him for pointers if you see him there in game.

  • Malango Isle Dailies: these are done more for the coins than their exp reward. The coins can be used to make enchants for gears which then can be sold for big profit after good enchantment. Help Chef Nyas, Clean the Ship, Compass Game, Fill the Crack, Help the bad cats in danger, Noisy Machine, and Yggdrasil Berry Gathering are the repeatables.

  • Mora Dailies, El Discates Department Dailies: same deal as Malangdo dailies, done more for money than exp. Each set of coins are not exchangable, so you need to earn coins accordingly. Each towns require their own coins or certs. Avoid gathering Manuk coins, it's not a lot of use.

  • Eden Group Gramp's Turn-In Dailies: Get rewarded lump sum 400x count worth of exp for the monster set he asks you to kill. This is a very effective and well known quest. I'm going to assume you know about the details, and just mention it in this list for the completion's sake.

  • Eden Board Quests: 90-99 zones give the best job exp rewards, HIGHER than 100+ zone quests. A very famous set of quests that I also listed for the completion's sake.

Additional quests you may also consider

  • Endless Tower: Very famous weekly instanced raid, made of various MVPs every 5 levels. Literally enough loots to go to all of the party members. A guild that can run this is literally miles above a guild that cannot run this weeklies. Consider switching to guilds that are doing ET runs.

  • Nidhoggur Raid: this instance raid is for Nidhoggur. His card is one of the most valuable cards in the game.

  • Hazy Forest: a famous instance maze raid for a pushover MVP who drops many great loots a lot and often. Recommended for lvl 120+.

  • Eden Group Crystal Synthesis AKA Reno's Daily: These crystal enchant materials are popular in the markets. If you end up making an enhanced gear out of them that's not an Angelic gear, they're worth a lot. E. Variant Shoes / E. ROR / E. ROFL are the most sought after gears.

  • Doha's Secret Order**: I recommend this quest if you're a stealthy class like Guillotine Cross or Shadow Chaser. Super Novice or Oboros may also have good chance of completing it. You get a one-time Bradium Brooch from this quest which fetches a lot of money in the market.

  • Cooking Quest**: The cooking itself in this game may no longer be desired because of profit, but the chef hat itself fetches high price, because it may be made one time only per character. Try doing the quest just for the hat. Level 1-4 cookbooks are also limited to an account, so you can also try selling them for high price.

  • Frog Hat Quest**: This hat is a great helper in Scaraba dungeon and in Al De Baran Guild Dungeon if you're strapped out of cash.

  • Traditional Weapons Quest: Keris is one of the better starting gear so it sells well. If you manage to tack on a pair of flee+12 or max sp +150 enchants, that's a free 120 mil gear right there for 30 min of your time a day.

  • Tomb of the Dark Lord quest chains: these high reward quests are very specialized for anti-undead/demon classes such as ME Priest or GC sadder.
  1. Lost Spirits AKA Nifflheim Spotlight: It's called a spotlight, but it's available any time.
  2. Lion's Roar AKA Glast Heim Spotlight: Same deal, available any time. It's just called "spotlight" for no reason other than it was introduced during a spotlight event.

  • Spy Quest**: this may require you to get some items in the market. There's a dude who's always selling the mats at Prontera. His prices are a rip-off, I'll tell you that much, but he's always there. If you have a guildie who can cook, or you can make the required food through Rebellion Quest, you should do this quest. Jewelry Box is a good sell anyway.

  • Z-Gang Quest: you may think that the required mats are expensive, and the reward is miniscule, and you may be right. That said, though, it's a good idea to START the quest and leave it open, so you can have a resting spot on Phreeoni's spawn map if you plan on camping that MVP.

**One thing you can do is to make these one-time only gears, and sell them and delete your character so you can do them again. This is especially helpful with the new Jump Start seasonal event.

You will hate me, but if i wanted to know the story i'll read it. I love doing quest, i think is better than just grinding, story quest, i find, are not better that grinding. Also, im too anxious right now and i want to get 99 as fast i can without using cash.

Seaechiowai, i really appreciate your answer, i would look into it :)!!

The closer you get to the cap, the less there is to do.

The faster you go, the more you're likely to miss.

What do you plan on doing once you get capped? PvP? You'll be absolutely crushed unless you have optimal gears and a GR to mitigate GoH damage. WoE? Same deal unless you play Support. Instances? You can only do them once a week. MVP? You simply have no chance comping ANY of them due to established MVPers whom dedicate their entire lives to them.

The majority of RO's content is mid-game. Rush to the end and you'll find yourself either logging out for weeks at a time or making a new character out of boredom.

Just want to be 3rd class soon, and i dont care if i only log in once per week, im certainly have a life haha. So, for now, it's just for fun :)

Well, the usual leveling experience (at least for me) is grinding the same monster over and over and oooooover again for several levels.

I really don't think I would miss a lot by leveling faster.

Pvp isn't the only thing to do end-game.

You can check out lore quests such as Founding of Nation Myth and others to include challenging Morroc/Surt/Satan(whatever his name is), Nidhoggur, Unsealed Baphomet, or Thanat/Thanatos, collect food or hats-of which there are many, sneak around other guilds' dungeons and troll them by trying your hand at making Godlies, collect cards, get ranked in Alchemy/Smith/Taekwon, run a guild and see how successful you manage it, play mini games, go Pokemon with catching all the pets you can, and help out lowbies. Be well known like Azzy, Doddler, or Synical and many others by becoming a great Specialist.

You can also try Role Playing-by that, I dont mean you should go full-out Griffindor, but just let loose a bit: become a peddler and see how much you can earn just by using Open Shop and Buying Shops alone; marry someone and adopt someone else; make or become a baby or roll permanent 1st class(or both!) and challenge yourself; bless or troll couples who are getting married with amulets and branches the second they get out of town; graffity the towns of your choice with Solo Box Hat; make your own Let's Plays; make your own skin, NPC illustrations or stage BGM and share them with friends; check out each stages of the game just to listen to the fantastic BGMs.

I think the biggest fun of playing a MMORPG comes from just trying to make your stories as crazy as it can be. I had a lot of fun making lots of friends and enemies in this game, and personally, I think I won't be bored any time soon as long as I'm making new stories.
