8k damage per hit, btw, is enough to kill angra mantis in 1 cast of SR!

 

And no, the Nightsparrow hat does not work. I was usign a +9 Evil Marching Hat in the above screens.

People are like... "this ranger doesn't 1 shot. We need a 2nd ranger." UHHHH how about any second good AoE class? You know? Like performer, shadow chaser copying AS, sorcerer with good gear, warlock with good gear, mado mechanic, genetic, etc.

I'm kinda jealous of the Wanderer ASPD song which works with bows

We need a transgender performer class.

 

But yeah SR damage will soon be very comparable or, gasp, even better? With:

 

Bow of storms[1]
Bow that resembles the shape of a storm.
Ranged Physical Damage increased by 30%.
Reduces [Severe Rainstorm] cooldown.
[Severe Rainstorm] SP consumption increased by 15.
Series: Bow Attack: 160
Weight: 150
Weapon Level: 4
Required Level: 130
Required Job: 3rd Job Archer types

 

Which would allow the use of elemental arrows, and the possible +13% ranged damage on Temporal Boots.

In actuality, this is not "soon". That bow comes with update heroes trials pt 2, which we probably wont get until next year.

 

That bow also takes a hit on damage; it does +30% instead of elven's +50%. Its worth it for the elemental freedom and shorter delay, though.
