Mushroom Pancake

 

 

Ingredients

- Pancake Mix (or Flour and Egg)

- Water

- Strawberry

- Marshmallow

- White chocolate Chips

- Butter and Maple Syrup for extra flavoring

 

Extra stuff

- Toothpick to hold mushroom together. >.<

 

I decided to make mushroom pancake since I love pancake a lot. But without taking the mushroom part too literally, mainly because real red mushroom are poisonous! And Spores drops Strawberries a lot. They must be made of Strawberries! :3

:B White chocolate chips for the spore teeth!

 

For this part you can use either food coloring or melted chocolate! I drew the face on with a tooth pick.

 

 

 

Strawberry Spore was held together with a toothpick. 

 

This is fairly simple and easy. >.< Nothing fancy. Trickiest was to keep the Spore together and not fall apart!

I'm not the best cook ever.. I may try something else if I have time and see if I can do better. XD Have fun!

Er, must the entry be EXACTLY what the description said it is? Can it be a look-alike food(with completely different ingredients)?

I checked on the food I wanna make but I don't have the right ingredients for it :/ (it requires Korean stuff which is hard to find here)

It's kind of hard anyway, a lot of items are pure guesswork like Immortal Stew. I don't think it's fair to be more "authentic" considering a lot of foods are rather vague.

 

+ points for anyone who does a full pig roast, though.

My family says that I am  to be trusted only with dessert and -_-tail party food haha (so buns and tart fit in those categories XD)

So... I made a Pope Cookie!

Here is the recipe I used for the sugar cookie base: http://www.joyofbaki...garCookies.html

3 cups (390 grams) all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (227 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Then I had some melting chocolate for the paint. I also had to buy a paint set...
*I absolutely did not use the watercolors. I just needed a paint brush lol.
 

I was really stumped by the eyes, but I found a wikihow about coloring white chocolate, so I did that!
The heart is some strawberry yogurt. I also painted the chocolate, then stuffed it in a ziplock bag and piped it on top after... then painted on top again.

;-; I would never be able to eat that adorable cute Chibi Pope cookie. Awesome work Sapphic! I would have wondered if putting raisins would work for the eyes but maybe not. o.O or those gem cookies but it maybe too big.. xD But colored white chocolate worked just great. =D

Tanks I considered a lot of stuff... cereal, blue corn chips with hot sauce LOL, jelly, but the chocolate worked best. Raisins might've made her look terrifying! The color was the hardest part.

I think I poked it a little too much. it's ok frosting heals almost any wound




Strawberries in the middle!


the top is a little battered but frosting okay


Cut it into a heart shape


and frost with your favorite frosting


I did some practicing before doing the designs


Here's an easy way to pipette frosting - use a ziploc bag, make a tiny cut out of the corner, and put a piping tip in it if you have one. If not, just use the small opening and viola!
