Taekwon stats?

Well i'm a base level 67 now. I would like to get my stats reset.. But before I do what should I aim for before the base level go's to 99. which I would never finish it. But heh. Should I start off at all str? Cause I have seen other taekwons back then didn't even struggle at all they even did those missions from taekwons. While they were still a low level.

 

str : 94
agi : 1
vit : 80
int : 1
dex : 60
luk : 1

 

Edit I just tried using kihop in a part with 2 people. I didn't see no atk bonus or something.. Even when I have 40 atk, having two people in a party didn't help. Am I doing something wrong?

LordKeith,

First off, what type of build?
TK-Master (Heat), TK-Master (AGI), TK-Kid (Mission Ranker)...etc?

Regarding Kihop...
1) Verify the users show up in your party.

2) If needed, recreate the party then cast Kihop and see if that works. Not sure if there is a distance requirement when cast or using.

3 If all else fails submit a ticket to their support team so they can fix the bug on a patch day.

I know these seem simple but a few tier 1 troubleshooting steps may help.

my stats are 99 str, 99 vit, 9 luk. Heat mastery. One of my friends got on my account and set them all on pront 08. Having issues figuring out how to reset the map. :( Having trouble figuring out the character in general.

StormRaven,

If your goal is heat mastery and let's say SLS Wrath thrown in there then here are some thoughts.

1) STR is #1, get that to 99 which you did. Mine is 120-130...with level bonuses for class, etc.  (another +10-15 with spell buffs).

 

2) DEX is #2, because it helps you hit, dodge things and factors into the Wrath calculation.  Mine is around 60-70  (then you have spell buffs on top of that).

3 LUK, is #3, it adds ATK every few points helps to trigger things (not the reset Angel) but it does help. Mine is around 50-60 

4) VIT, helps add life, potion effects increased and soft defense. Mine is around 50-60 (Again, more with the spell buffs).

 

5) AGI is around 10-20

 

6) INT is in the single digits between 5 - 10

These are the things to focus on. Your damage should be high enough it makes up for no AGI.

I had to re-stat my character to set it up this way for a Heat Build.

 

One thing you did not mention (or I missed it), is this for MVP, PVP or PVM? That part will really determine your gear, especially your weapon. Generally speaking, a +9 Hardcover Book with a card and Malangdo Enchants will out perform other books. Trust me, I have several books at +9 with various cards multiplied to check.

Elemental or race modifiers will "generally" do you more good than +HP% cards. I think that is why you see so many Incubus/Succubus armor pieces on the market.

 

Skills

 

1) SLS Perceptions (x3)

2) SLS Heat (x3)

3) SLS Wraths (x3)

4) SLS Courier (x9)

5) SLS Union (no skill points needed, only Soul Link)

6) Team Up ** (only if wanted) (x3)

 

Lately, been teaming up with Monks and with Kihop, Mild Wind, and Team Up the TKM has been very viable (with some POTS or with priest) in Magma Dungeon and Glast Heim (not the old one). It's been pretty fun.

MVP, my skills looks like that, and the stat reset may happen some time right now since I'm farming Mutant dragonoids on my chaser.

I hear you on that. Something to help you....

 

WEAPONS:

 

When it comes to weapons and cards. The more specialized it is with cards (multiplied) the more damage it can do but the less multifaceted it will be.

In other words, if you are attacking Dark Lord who is a Large, Demon and Undead you could do a Minorous (Large), Strouf (Demon) and now that they will have it Pom something err other card (Undead). Combine that with Mild Wind Level 7 for holy and you have good damage. Note, I used Dark Lord as an example. Do not try to go Heat and pounce them like a dog in heat. You'll die.  :heh:

 

What I have done for a broad use of my books is get a couple of Abysmal Knight cards with a size card (e.g. Minorous/Skeleton Worker) for MVPs. It only does a few damage points less but overall it's more useful against many MVPs. As mentioned I use a +X Hardcover book with Malangdo enchants (Fight Sprit/Sharp) and a ATK card since I could not afford a Turtle General card as my general use book.

 

The elemental books are a good start and the element is irrelevant since Mild Wind overrides it.

 

HEADGEARS (just some options I came across):

 

1) Mythical Lion Mask (Upper/Middle): Good Dex (+2) addition, adds chance to stun and adds +2 ATK for each refine.

2) Witch's Pumpkin Hat + Gozer Mask (Upper/Middle/Lower together): adds +2 STR, +2 INT and +10 MDEF....+30 ATK (combo), +15% damage against Demon/Undead and increases rate to gain Pumpkin Pies, candy, cookies...etc. One of the best undead/demon headgear combos there are.

3) Star-Spangled Bandana + Black Devil Mask (Upper/Middle together): (+2 all stats from both), +10% damage to all classes (bandana) and you get 2 card slots between your headgears. Additionally, you still have your lower headgear slot open for a Peace Pipe (+5% reduction Undead/Demon) or something else.

4) Enhanced Hat of the Sun God (Upper/Middle): if you are ever able to get your hands on this really rare gear; it has a card slot, +3 STR, +2 DEX and added +45 ATK/MATK if you get it refined to +9. Some down sides are some people don't like its looks, it's heavy (relatively) and takes upper and middle headgear slots so only 1 card. Hard as hades to get since the God item to make is usually in the Billions of Zeny to buy as well as the hat.

5) Cat Ear Beret Hat (Upper): Good for demi-human and PVP/WoE. ATK +5% and can add another 7% at refine level 12.

6) RWC Commerative Pin + Black Devil Mask (Upper/Middle): adds +X% ATK/MATK based on the RWC rings/pendents used. You get more +ATK% for unslotted (uncarded) rings/pendents.
