I have a lvl 94 sinx on classic.  Currently dual dagger build.

 

How can I use this character to make money on classic?

 

Should I hit 99 and change him into a crit katar build and solo mvp?

 

any suggestions?

Take an Ice Pick to Goats and have at it. Antelope Horns are always in massive demand and pay extremely well.

 

Goats also drop Blue Herbs and Empty Bottles, both of which are extremely useful.

 

Otherwise MVPing, as you suggested already, is great if you can do it efficiently.

Do I need really elite gear to mvp?

 

If I don't how does a sinx make money mvping?  I'm guessing its probably not profitable to solo easy mvps

Easy MVPs you need card drops to profit and you will have plenty of comp that can out do sinx
