Rune Knight

Rune Training: Passive

Increase success rate of crafting Runes by (Job Level / 5)%

 

Guillotine Cross

Critical Overflow: Passive

Increase Critical Chance by 5%.

 

Evasive Training: Passive
Increase Flee by 5 + (Job Level / 5).

 

Ranger

Explosive Mastery: Passive

Increase Trap Damage by (Job Level / 2)%.

 

Arch Bishop

Divine Warmth: Passive
Increase effectiveness of [Sanctuary] & [Heal] by (Job Level / 5)%.

 

Divine Praise: Passive

Increase SP Recovery by 1% for every 5% SP Missing.

 

Warlock

Mana Charge: Passive

Increase Equipment Matk by ((Current SP/ 100) * (Job Level / 20))

 

Mechanic

Engineering: Passive

Enable use of [Weapon Repair] while in Mado Suit.

 

Breakdown: Active

Break down Armor and Weapons into Elunium & Oridecon. [(Luk * 0.1 + Dex * 0.1 + STR * 0.05) +/- 0 ~ 25) = Points

1 Rough Elunium / Rough Oridecon = 5 Points

1 Elunium / Oridecon = 50 Points

+1 Elunium / Oridecon for Every Upgrade on Armor or Level 3 & Level 4 Weapons.

 

Note: Cannot Break Down Armor & Weapons Sold by NPCs.

 

Royal Guard

Royal Protection: Active

Decrease damage received from Holy, Shadow, Undead, & Ghost Property attacks by 20% for 60 seconds

 

Shadow Chaser:

Deadlier Mirror: Active
When using a skill copied with [Reproduce] or [Intimidate], its effectiveness is increased by 10 + (Job Level / 4)%. At Job 50 increase its effectiveness by an additional 2.5%.

 

Maestro

Accuracy Training: Passive
When equipped with an instrument, increase the damage dealt with Maestro skills by 10 + (Job Level / 5)%.

 

Maestro's Harmony: Passive

Enable use of [Arrow Vulcan] & [Severe Rainstorm] while using Chorus Skills.

 

Wanderer

Accuracy Training: Passive
When equipped with a whip, increase the damage dealt with Wanderer skills by 10 + (Job Level / 5)%.

 

Wanderer's Harmany: Passive

Enable use of [Arrow Vulcan] & [Severe Rainstorm] while using Chorus Skills.

 

Sura

Temple of Peace: Passive
When casting [Zen], restore 30 SP.

 

Sorcerer

Infinite Knowledge: Passive

Increase damage of Diamond Dust, Earth Grave, & Varety Spear by 10%

 

Conversion Mastery: Active

Consumes 1 Elemental Converter. Reduce Damage received from applied Element by 20% for 60 seconds.

Only 1 Element may be applied at one time.

 

Summoner's Bond: Passive
Reduce damage to summoned elemental by (Spirit Summon Level * 16.6)%.

 

Genetic

Bombardier: Passive
Increase the damage of the [Sling Item] skill by (Job Level / 0.5)%.

 

Biology: Passive

Enable Homonculus use of [Sacrifice] Skill.

Overpowering Aura: Is this a % amp at the end of the damage formula? If so, it probably shouldn't affect Runes or Ferus skills.

Explosive Mastery: Anything that increases the effectiveness of traps and NOT Arrow Storm is awesome.

Divine Praise: This actually seems too low considering how effective healing hats and other non-AB healing methods are. What about something like an active skill that boosts it by 50%, increasing the effectiveness of Coluseo by 30%, or healing a % of the target's missing HP rather than the usual heal formula?

Engineering: Kinda good for support, but very lame compared to your other suggestions.

Music License: Silly name but awesome.

Party Holic: Makes Wanderers semi-useful! Double awesome!

Breaking Point: Too easy to abuse with HP drain, activating the skill and then potting back up.

Infinite Knowledge: Everything is awesome except the PsyWave buff. That doesn't really need it.

Legendary Slayer: Something that works with homunculus synergy would be better imo. They're already broken when dealing with Boss and MVP Proto enemies.

Breaking Point: Too easy to abuse with HP drain, activating the skill and then potting back up.


Do you think it's possible script-side to reduce the ATK bonus when HP is refilled back up? So HP regen/potting will render the skill less useful.

Do you think it's possible script-side to reduce the ATK bonus when HP is refilled back up? So HP regen/potting will render the skill less useful.

 

The general idea behind the skill is that it is relative to your HP. If you activate it at 1% HP you will get 198 ATK. If you refill your HP to say 50% it will update accordingly and you will only get 100 ATK.

 

Overpowering Aura: Is this a % amp at the end of the damage formula? If so, it probably shouldn't affect Runes or Ferus skills.

 

Its a bonus 500 damage at Job 50, not 500%. It would be applied to all skills cast by a Rune Knight.

The glaring problem with Riakuta's list is it gives strong classes good buffs, and weak classes weak buffs, which makes no sense. its backwards. I gave strong classes weak buffs, and weak classes strong buffs, below.

Rune Knight
Sword Training: Passive

Your list looks a lot more interesting now, but why 3 skills for sorcerer?

If some class can have more than one, I'd give performer a second one that does something like, when you cast a song or chorus skill, affected characters receive the 'blessed by muses' buff for 60 seconds.

Blessed by Muses: +2 to all stats and +10% exp gain.

Also diamond dust is already really strong and has a useful status. I wouldnt buff it. Buff varetyr spear more... Its not useful enough imo :)

And that summon spirit one is way overpowered... minus half damage to a level 3 spirit? Should be like 20% at all spirit levels at job 50.

Not Really. Spirits have ridiculously low Defense. Keeping a Spirit alive is harder than keeping a homunculus alive, especially considering the 60 second cooldown required to re-summon them. The only way to heal a Spirit is with Spirit Cure; sacrificing the casters HP & SP.

 

Also how does the new skill I added to Wanderer Look?

Swing dance already gives agi up type movement. Cart boost style move speed won't make them apetizing to party so I'm not sure wshat that'd be for. Plus the steep requirement of needing a soul link would ensure nobody uses it.

Why is it like a dance? Wanderers don't use new dances, they use songs/choruses. Dances suck in mobile parties, and dedicating a whole player slot to an afk/dipping bird role also sucks. They semi fixed this with songs/choruses, which are party buffs with 60 sec duration, and like dances/performances, you can't stack them.

Wanderer/maestro need to be able to
1. Dance/perform
2. Cast a song or chorus while doing the former
3. Help kill while doing the above.

Bard/dancer failed because they only did the first thing, which an afk alt can do.

Performers these days have more to do, but all their skills are underwhelming.

As for Kagerou/Oboro and Rebellion:

Kagerou/Oboro

Posession: Active skill

Increase Atk and MAtk by 10*(Job Lvl/5)

 

Rebellion:

Prone: Active toggle skill

Immobilise self by lying down to reduce incoming ranged damage by 35% Use skill again to forfeit reduction to regain movement option.

I personally don't think Kag/Obo and Rebellion will be given quest skill in any sense, since compared to other first and second classes, first expanded classes don't have quest skill at all.

True. A lot of junks aren't worth vending and NPC only gives 10z (or 12z OC'd) for them.

IMHO Wanderer and Maestro should gain the "Composition" passive skill. This skill should grant ability to perform Ensemble and Solo performance at once.
