I have an idea. Its a cute name for "Odin".
And Heimdallr is just the gatekeeper but maybe he just lost on a bet or something with the "cute Oda".
And that means he lost the title and rank too. I can actually see Heimdallr buys a cup of latte for Oda every single working day. =P

In another post, Oda wrote that he used to go by the name "Nobunaga." Oda Nobunaga is correct.
