Dear Admins/Moderators.

 

So about the launch for ph players. as you can see they all would like to ask for a new server.

it would be good if the "new server" will be still global.

here are some concerns about new players if we/they will play in Odin sever.

 

• High Tier players(old/pioneer players) = unfair for new players
• Selling Price = it will hard for new players buy or sell items
• WOE time = its like 1am or something on ph
• COLO time
• Dungeon Leash

I'm a new player too... currently downloading the installer.. I agree I hope they would provide a new server for the filipino players.

-High tier players are almost gone and when ph will hit the ml 30 will notice how easy you can get the end gears
-selling prices will not be a problem up to lv 50 only by quest you will have 4k zenny and you won't spend them
-actually there are 2 woe at different times one good for europe and one good for usa, of both are not good for Asia they can always add a third one
-they already added 2 more colo per day so i don't see the problem adding them again

Actually I believe with what Shinyusuke said.

 

for levels 1~50 items can be easily obtained by Quest and Dungeon Runs, and with the new players coming in, it will be easier to find PT for Dungeon Raids - and its fun!

 

after reaching master level 1, you will find how easy it is to farm zeny as 1 drop of item on DayR costs around 3 ~ 9z if sold to NPC. Thats why the items costs thousands of zeny, because they are easy to get.

 

as for WoE and Colo, they do added new schedule so everyone can participate.

 

Also, if you are worried of Colo because of the colo gear, forget it.. after reaching master lvl 1, it'll be useless. even if you have runes and upgrades in it.

 

Just a little piece of observation, I played since beta and hybernated from time to time and I too am still catching up with maxed players.

In my history since RO1, new server always destroy the game and ended being merged rather than helping the population....

Both of these problems can be overcome, it's clear because many players (including myself) returned to the game after many months of absence. We had only items that by now are considered weak or outdated and we are able to catch up and become high tier players just like everyone else. It's obvious you will be weaker at first because you spent less time than those older players, but it is not unfair or impossible.

Yes, let's make a brand new server even though the current one isn't even that populated. Makes perfect sense.

Partying for dungeons will be a problem especially if not that much PH players will play.

I agree with all the other people who only want there to be 1 server. Ive started this game a week ago, and Ive had had to have master levels helping me to clear dungeons and even that could take a while >.< I was never in a full party with just people around my levels at the time. Up until yesterday, when I was playing my lvl 35 priest, and I'm sure it took them a while too

Its not that hard to ask for help from what I have seen.  I sometimes help until they start making requests with dungeons.  As much as a new server would be nice for those new players there is no reason to.  Since you cannot justify making another server due to Odin being so relatively low (it barely looks like it gets passed the yellow markers in ch 1 sometimes).  They should be making more stabilized servers due to the future lag they may get though lol.  Also incoming threads about inflation.

 

Random note:  ML 19 in a week and half oh my god can I get your autograph? (no sarcasm I find it impressive)

-1 this. Having new server costs money, in which I doubt people in the philippines are willing to shell out of their pockets. The money of this server should be focused on creating new content, rather than making another server.

I agree into this especially old players are much stronger than newbie ones also WOE time is like everyone is sleeping in the PH unless your a hard core gamer and you play till daw LMAO!

newbies eventually become old players and other newbies come along and so on

a new server is pointless for such a reason

the only problem i see is with the times, but sadly this game doesn't have enough population for more than 1 server

Server population is low... last time i played, it barely fills one channel... One server is fine unless necessary...
Let time tell on how the server can handle the sudden spike of players...

Well Playpark was the one which should have catered the Philippines since they were in charge of the South East Asian server.

 

Sadly they just had to do something contrary with their contract related stuff when the game was totally filled with so much people from the Philippines at the start of the game. In the end it all turned out to be a huge disappointment. And this server is somewhat hard to blend as a player far from the designated region its catering. The lag just hurts so badly.
