not sure if there is a thread like this, but wondering for crit mvping what is better assuming 193 aspd can be achieved with both.  wondering whether to put 2 in a chakram or 2 ak, or perhaps 1 of each.

AK should be better, if you're gonna be stacking a lot of other crit damage effects, like Fatal FAW, sapha set, chakram + handcuffs combo, etc.

AK better than aunoe only if you have high weapon + equip attack,
because AK only effects weapon + equip attack

aunoe is better than AK if you have low weapon + equip attack,
because aunoe effects total crit damage.

AK card modifies WATK and EATK only, while Aunoe modifies SATK as well.

HOWEVER, because a crit sin will often have a large number of +% crit damage effects (which stack additively with eachother), it's possible - and in fact quite easy, thanks to the mora set - for the AK card to be better.

Let's take the case of 2 AK cards and no other +% damage vs boss effects.

For the sake of example, we'll assume that SATK is equal to WATK+EATK (this is likely not the case, but you'd need to calc this yourself). That means the ratio between the two is 2:1

50% / [(WATK+EATK+SATK)/(WATK+EATK)] = 25% increase in damage

For the Aunoe card, where there are other effects of the same type, we can calculate the increase in damage - here X is the sum of all other +% damage with critical attack effects.

(1+40%+X)/(1+X)-1

Ex, with no other effects, X=0, (1+0.4+0)-1 = 40% - as you'd expect.

But with the 40% crit damage from mora set, X=0.4, so (1+0.4+0.4)/(1.4)-1= 28%

The weakness in these calculations, of course, is that I just assumed that SATK = EATK+WATK (which is a decent assumption for genetics, but might not be for GX) - see http://irowiki.org/wiki/ATK

Moreover, EDP won't be applied to status ATK and status ATK will be pretty small part of your ATK.

This fact makes Aunoe cards advantage even smaller for GX.

So, 2 AK cards are better especially with Chakram since it has high Crit damage bonus.

If you have 2 Megs and don't want to use EDP? Go for Aunoe cards damn rich man. :P
