As I've said before, I love the recent changes to the drop system. Picking up your drops is a good habit. But esp for new people, it would be better if they could see the drop names. Many times they don't even realize that those drops can be picked up and used or sold. I know you can press crtl and alt together to make the names show, but that has to be done every time you log in and on every client. At my old server, we had a line in the options box that could be checked while in-game and you could lock the drop names on so that they would always show, even if you logged out then back on later. Unfortunately I don't seem to have a pic of that but here is where it would go if it could be implemented
It could be added to the Interface tab of the Options box. We had just a line that said something like "show drop names" and once checked, it would stay like that until you manually changed it. Here you would probably have to do that for every account but only once and then it would stay unless you decided to change it.
I believe that with the database update something like this might be possible either now or in the future and it would be great for new players and others who like to pick up all of their drops.
