I know how normal random boxes work: high chance of getting a purposedly ugly costume, low chance of getting an okay one and really low chance of getting the good thematic one. With higher chance for temporary than permanent.

So how does it work for assassin/gunslinger/crusader? Is the class costume mixed with a bunch of high probability fillers as well? Anything else about it?

The Ro1 costume boxes are separated on their class. Like Gunslinger Box ( Chance of getting a male or female gunslinger costume from 0-2 slots. ) and the same with the other Ro1 costumes.

Yeah, yeah, I know that.

But if I opened, say, a sinx box, would I be guaranteed to get a sinx costume or am I more likely to find something like "flower hairpin" or "cat cap"? Do those costumes have a chance of being "expires after X months"?

No. These boxes say Ro1 Gunslinger Costume Box etc so you will only get that costume and nothing else. It doesnt work like the regular Munil Costume box which basically trolls you and gives the undesirables most of the time.
And yes those are permanent costumes. The expiration on these ones are the set effect but not the costume itself.
