This is the official international server.

Here are some guides to get you started:

RO requires a lot more technical understanding than most MMOs, probably due to its age and unique mechanics. It's also quite a bit harder than most online games, comparatively.

It doesn't hold your hand at all, but the experience is very rewarding!

You can ask here if you will have some questions. But mostly if you just use google you will always find answers.

yeah it's what i'm doing right now..may I ask, I want to build a dual dagger asassin. should I still get katar mastery, sonic blow and grim tooth if ever I want to use katar? what skills will I get? I'm confused with all these guides each telling a different story..

You can make dual dagger ASSASSIN without katar skills, but leveling will be a bit slower without grimtooth. If you will get to Assassin Cross katar skills will become must have because 100+ leveling is all about AOE.

so does that mean I should get the katar skills? i already maxed right and left hand mastery. so if I max katar mastery + grimtooth + sonicblow, will I still have enough skill point for other must have skills?

I was looking for an up-to-date comprehensive dual dagger asassin guide but all I find is katar wielding asassin guides. does that mean katar is better that dual daggs?

Katar has a better aspd mod and x2 crit rate, making it much easier to achieve maximum crit and 193 aspd.

The benefit of dual daggers would be the usage of ice pick to pierce defense, and also that you'd have more card slots than a katar so you would be able to do better damage. However daggers suffer from a lousy size mod so... you need something like a drake card to do much better damage.

It's considerably easier and cheaper to fund a katar build, and you'd need katar to level with rolling cutter till 150 unless you go for counter slash.

dual daggers are more for single target so it's more of an endgame thing imo.

My GX has the necessary skills from the sinx stage, both hand masteries, EDP, katar masteries, maxed sonic blow for cross impact, took soul destroyer(can choose to take either SD or MA) then dumped everything else in enchant poison.

hmm u can do lvl 1-99 as DD it will just take longer if u solo since no aoe but in party u can just be a perfect dodge puller as DD with 2 fortune swords and massive p.dodge (morigan set) at lvl 70 just do TI till u transcend then as assassin cross u can meteor assault for aoe for the lols as DD, remember once u trascend u get 70 job lvls on assassin cross so u can get all the must have skills as for katar, DD, poison.

but katar will ALWAYS beat DD in lvling speed just cus of the aoe, remember DD aoe is till u trascend and gets replaced for rolling cutter wich is katar only as GX counter slash is not even half as good as RC for leveling in my opinion but up to u its still a fun skill.
