I'm fully godded and using everything with max enchants possible like EA12 Hurricane Fury, etc to maximize damage, although my build is based around dex boots now, I used to do more damage xD, but now I have higher DPS on MVPs.

 

The RG is wearing normal RG gears minus sometimes using Bryn or Tao while tanking.

What combo is better? Sura/Genetic or RG/Genetic for ET run? 

 

You say the RG has all normal gear? He tanked like a beast. I have a hard time keeping my MS Sura alive against Valk with holy armor and GTB shield lol.

I would only go RG + Genetic if I KNOW the RG is able to tank the last few MVPs because it's not easy at all, it does take practice to do it. Once you're able to, it's a lot smoother IMO. My sura + gene duos generally take 1 hr 20-30 min as well. And it's less supply intensive.

 

The one big significance with the RG is, you're sac'd and you have Defending Aura, because of this you can zerg a lot more floors especially Celia Floor and Entwen with a 1 vit gene. With a sura you can zerg Entwen on a tankier gene. It all depends on the build tbh.

I run two genetics, one I can solo most MVPs with, and one that's 1 vit, and for the 1 vit gene, I definitely prefer an RG partner.
