i havent seen any thread about temporal boots aimed for chaser. i left my SC at level 126 and never level him again after 3 months because he is weak and hard to level especially solo.

i want to ask for advice about what possible build available using temporal boots that can boost SC effectiveness in leveling.

here what i have in mind:
hawkeye enchant: +200 dex, -50sp/sec. good for AS-er and severe rainstorm will help proc more since it has seperate hits. backdraw: SP runs out fast.

runaway magic: +200 int, -200 sp/sec. good for ASS and CD user. drawback: SP usage, but no need to worry since u mostly ctrl-clicking and dont use skill, no worry if your SP is 0 all the time.

bear power: +200 str, -500HP/sec. good for IB user. drawback: needs to get hit in order to proc.

speed of light: +100% aspd n pdodge. -400hp and 40sp per sec. good for ASS and autocaster.

lucky day: +200 luk. chance to drop treasure box when killing a monster while the buff is active. dunno about this, for all around purpose maybe to add little crit, atk, matk, pdodge. it has no drawback.

muscle fool: +1000 def. -50% atk n matk. good for tanking and pulling.

any thoughts and addition guys? i havent specify which boots to use, just the special enchant.

I'd probably use the same boots on chaser as I do wanderer.

how do u counter the SP choking? especially SC uses 240 sp per SR cast. +9 vanargand and nid garb and incu pet?

You should use Arrow Storm (cheaper) and more useful anyway.

 

I just blue pot nonstop when leveling.

 

Though with nid garb + incubus pet, a rideword should keep you full sp I think.

iirc dex raises both matk and atk for each 5 points too so hawkeye might be a better choice for ASS than lucky day

+200 dex adds 40 status atk and matk.
+200 luk adds 66 status atk and matk.
since lucky day has no SP drains drawback i think it is preferable than hawkeye. dunno if +200 dex will raise your ASPD significantly or not.

Runaway Magic is amazing if you copy Psychic Wave and Blaze Shield

Most of the final enchants actually 'ruin' the boot so it might be a good idea to just stop at delay after attack 4.

You're mistaking autocast with Double Attack.

Yeah, have to switch equipment often if leveling like that. Switch shoes to cancel +200 int proc whenever it's not needed to prevent unwanted SP loss and switch weapon to Moonlight Dagger to regen SP with Blaze Shield.

oh wait, from my knowledge, autocasts won't proc under crits, only normal hits, cmiiw

if it's true... i def need to rework my chars x.x

autocasts proc on crits, autocasts don't proc on skills(generally, there's a few exceptions)

I'm going to try running Speed of Light on my new Shadow Spell Chaser.  So far as I've tested, it has a really low proc rate, even lower than a +7 Drooping Alicel, so I'm not sure how useful it will end up being.

ramen you trying that ele sword proc build?Yea proc is pretty low i see the proc from Glorious Jamadhar like 10 times( i dont test XD) or more than the speed of light.

Nah.  I'm giving that high luk build a shot since I have a +12 Ancient Dagger I want to use.  I might deviate from it somewhat, but we'll see.  For MVP hunting, I feel like it might be worth it to try out the +200 dex enchants, since that would really help auto spelling the MVPs with AGI UP (hate that skill).

Wouldn't crits be better against mvps that agi up? Even +200 hit isn't going to be enough to hit anything, after it uses agi up. And even if it did, you'd have to hit them first, in order to have a chance to proc it.

I have ea4 Hawkeye DEX Boots on my AS SC and it procs like hell... Have to use a Lot of Blue pots

yea, it makes my Arrow Storm damage increase from 19k to 36k against nagas.
