Patch Notes v514

Stage 2 Restrictions are now implemented.
All Crafted & Blue Monster Drops with level 100+ condition requirement.

Guideline for items that will be affected by Stage 2 of item restriction changes.

Also all Monster Drops that are Blue, that have a level 100 or higher condition to equip or level design, will be set to Character Bound on Equip.
So, to help be as specific as possible:
 
Character Bound on Equip

• Weapons and Armors level 100 and higher
  • Golden, Grand, Saint, Dark, Elven, Demon & Legendary (Legend)

As a reminder everyone, "BOUND" item can be UNBOUND with the Item Unbinder in the Valor shop for 100 Valor points a use!

None of these items are permanently locked to your character after equipping them!

Bug Fixes

• Corrected a drop, the Mystic Weaver Set, to drop from its correct level and monster types.
• Corrected Lisent Ti reward from Sikuku Ruins Maze event reward.
• Summoned monsters by the Giant Worm Dragon no longer yield experience or drops, as the summoned monsters are part of the main monster's combat design and are considered part of the monster's difficulty and drop rewards.
• Corrected some server settings to help improve server disconnections that were the result of normal game play.

While originally we thought it was something with the Database update, we were recently informed that we have been undertaking some attacks, aimed at our servers, which have accounted for the majority of the spontaneous lag or server down time of late. While we work with our network team to help prevent this from affecting our servers, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

But they can get unbound.

Simply put it costs more to buy the unbind item then what its going to cost you to just make a new piece of eq (in most cases).

 

This means the bound eq will be sold to npc or disassembled  making it leave the game

Main reason would be that people just cant switch stuff around, treating it like stuff for all your chars. getting an unbound ticket isnt hard but getting it everytime you want to switch it costly. You can't treat items like items for all your chars anymore (you can still make it sellable) but you cant use it on all your chars as that would need too many tickets. Better get a new set then, increasing demands

That should be nipped in the bum. Just close the client and restart it and you should patch correctly.

nah, this is just one way to make people become a premium user, cause they have to do dungeon to obtain those valor points more premium more money lol. simple business minded ... why need to do one stage at a time, why don't you just make "" ALL ITEMS""  account bound for eternity .....

I can get 100 valor from quests in less then 10 minutes. Your argument is invalid.

"harder" in relativity to? I thought yu played back in iRose justin? Have you forgot the hours upon hours to get 1 level and maybe 10 hearts? perhaps 3 catalyst and some chems? just hoping your +4 doesn't break.

Finally ROSE is getting somewhere - to the true MMO brand. Can't WAIT for new updates and evolution of ROSE! So excited!

 

And reply to justin: well you shouldn't share the equipment then? Every char should have it's own equipment in my opinion like in pretty much every MMO. And considering it will help revive the economy - this is a must and we must accept it. Personally for me it will make the game more enjoyable

in in pve ref8-10 is very easy to get and more then good enough  to get you by. for pvp well you need to work for your gear one way or another wether its by doing honour stuff or by earning the zulie to buy the eq to pvp with.

 

having a ref 15 anything isn't worth bragging about as there is so much of it already in the community at lest when stuff broke refining past 5 you could be proud to eve have a refine 7 with good stats and a refine 9 (which was max ref) was more bragging rights then near anything else in the game even if the stats sucked. I would break a good 30pcs of equipment just trying to make a refine 8 or 9...

 

quests are also handed to you on a silver platter now lvl100 quest just use some tokens, cart quest almost every kill gives you the quest item same with the lvl 100 quest if your bored enough to do it these quests used to take you hours to do to get all the quest items now the only quest that drags out is the one to get to orleo....

 I have most things in this game and yet I have almost no Zulie and rarely buy stuff its all about Farming it yourself it takes time but its free

before this update that was like that, u need to buy in IM shop a expansion or maybe by others players (if isnt acc bound or char bound + if they rlly sell e.e)

Eh, it's a pathetic amount to make more money for gravity if they are making item mall costumes account bound on equip. But that's just my opinion
