(Update Fixed) Rebria's Skill Winter Storm

At no matter what level this skill is leveled up to, it only lasts for 4 seconds and not the duration listed in the skill description.

 

At skill level 4 it is supposed to last for 16 seconds, however it only lasts for 4 seconds or 1 to 2 hits, in my video below I seem to only be getting 1 hit per skill use. Please fix this, this is supposed to be a ground AOE attack with multiple hits over a duration usually 1 hit per 2 seconds.

If you're trying to read the skill descriptions, use a higher video setting on the youtube page. I don't know why 360p is the highest quality this embedded video will go up to on this forum, kinda lame.

i think this should be fixed in a larger overhaul of pb skills. (dont get me started on the giont skill set...)

Overhaul might be nice, but I would rather see a quick fix instead of waiting a year or more. Winter Storm is Elem's ONLY ground aoe and it's broken.

That is not possible jabrody. Alteris said they fixed it. Then it must be true. You must not be so toxic, negative, and persistent. Everything is working properly, it must be that you are doing something wrong.

Hmm we'll still continue to look at the skill and see what went wrong when going from test to live.

Ok we located what was causing it to only cast twice. This fix will be in the next patch! =)

meh, I know how bugs go, putting a time estimate for a programming solution is sometimes unquantifiable. The best way to handle a problem is simply to not ignore it, that's the only way you'll ever see progress, even if you fail a bunch of times before you get it completely right (can actually be a good thing). When you do fail then you are helping to  narrow down the remaining problematic methods and variables in your search toward a correct path to make that cog get rolling again. You think you found the problem and you fix it, but then you find out later that what you fixed also broke something else (clearly this is a perfect example for a case in quantum mechanics right here in this game). In this case, I'm not saying this is the case, but its the circle of life in bug defusing.
