i think there's some scripting issue as well when I went through the murder mystery during spotlight.  even though I was going the long route, it still behaved as if I was accusing a different person.  However, after I spoke to the curator once again, it acted normally.

Hmm, it's always been that way for me. But it's only the third time I do it.

 

First time it's as if you are not acusing him, and he gives you exp. Then you talk to him again and he starts running when you mention the note.

That's because it's giving you the reward for a bad ending by mistake and then letting you continue the quest. That additional EXP award really shouldn't be there.

yuuuuuup. i suspected as much.  i was going to be so mad if it ended up giving me the bad ending.  out of curiosity, does Victoria Quest acknowledge completion if you did a shortened version of the quest?

Just tried completing all the Amatsu quests so I can get reward from Victoria but the Sashimi one never seems to complete. Do I have to go through every single material before it does?

Just something to note, VIP usually makes a difference in the EXP you get too. VIPs usually get 1.5x the amount regular players get.

it looks like you won't get credit until you are rewarded with the sashimi knife.

 

now if you already got that and it's still not giving you credit, then i dunno.

i wish there was a site somewhere that contained background or lore for iRO.  doesn't look like the iro wiki has it.

I wish such a site exists, too.
