Daily PVP Event that will change the world of ROSE!

Hi guys. I got nothing to do at the moment and really bored so i think i'll just share my idea which i have in mind for some time now. also i think this will make rose more fun and attract more players and make present players more active. It will also give the chance to a player to stand out among all players in the server and be known through a special reward or costume that only the STRONGEST in the server can have. 

 

First of all this is not a Game Arena. it is an event that will be held every 6 hours(4 times a day) not by the GM but it will be programmed into the game like the quest the quest [Historian]Jones is shouting every once in a while regarding i think about the devil pests, anyways, It will be a Deathmatch meaning no one is an ally, and inside the battlefield you will not see other player's name Just their level. all players will have the same look except maybe for the weapons so that u can determine what class it is.

 

The main goal is to survive inside until every round is finished or be the only survivor or the "Last Man Standing" and be rewarded with the reward that only a the last survivor deserves.

 

-There will be 5 rounds. Every round will have a time limit of maybe 5 or 7 mins. within this time players should look for their kill in order for them to proceed and have a chance at the Reward only given to the last survivor! If a player already has a kill, all he needs t do is avoid others from killing him or he can also kill more  players for more stat points.

 

There will be a notification on the screen saying how many players are left inside the battlefield. There will also be a Few npc inside the battlefield which will give buffs all with the same strength. Buffs from cleric outside the battlefield will be taken off once teleported. There will also be a few power up items inside that can be stacked w=together with the buffs for example(+10% mspd or +25% attackspeed, etc...)

 

- Registration will be 1 hour before the Event Starts and there will be an announcement of course if the registration has started or is about to start. Once the registration ends. all players registered(regardless of how many) or inside the queue will be teleported in the battle field. On the first spawn there will be a 3 min time that all players cannot attack each other yet so they can plan or position themselves properly or get a buff from buff npc's inside the field.

 

Use of cart or mount is ok.

 

- every round a player needs to gain a kill in order to proceed to the next round, but of course more kill = more points but the requirement is only one kill every round. If a player doesn't have a kill he will be eliminated and be rewarded with honor points or maybe a new point category based on his stats(Damage dealt, Damage Blocked, kills, etc..)

 

There will be a level range for your kills to count like the crystal defenders but all players will be inside the same battle field regardless the level for example(lvl151-170, 171-190, 191-210, 211-230) all players will have to kill a player based on his level range.

 

- If somehow you hit(not kill) a player below your level range you will have debuffs put on you as a consequence like slow mspd, reduced AP, defense down, etc.. and if you killed a player below your lvl range you will instantly be eliminated. 

 

A new "sight skill" with a cooldown of 35 seconds will be temporarily given to each player. this sight skill does not only reveal hidden players at the time of cast, instead when casted, for 20 seconds he will be able to see hidden players around his area range even when moving.

 

- Use of pots inside the battlefield will be prohibited. But there will be random +HP points loot popping out randomly inside the battlefield. Also some powerups (stated above)

 

-Every end of each round players will be invulnerable for 1 min and have their HP and mp regenerated. just so players can catch their breath and gather themselves up. 

 

-at the end of the final round if the number survivors are more than one, all players will be teleported back to their previous location and be rewarded based on their stats and there will be no player to be rewarded with the Special reward. However If the survivor is only one or there is a "Last Man Standing" he/she will be given additional honor points and also a special Reward maybe a token or a certain item that one needs to keep and collect for them to get all the parts of the New Fashion and rare costume "Last Man Standing Set"(mask,head,body,gloves,boots,wings or backpack or backshield) which i think should be a bad@ss or super cool costume that only the strongest or the most deserving players in the server will have! ofcourse the "Coolness" will also be based on level range. The "Coolest" will of course be from the range of 211-230.

 

And there! that's my idea. if these is an event like this players will become more active because they will crave more for that rare costume and rewards and be known as "The Last Man Standing". Or maybe if one has collected the whole set, He/She may have a personal statue for a couple of weeks in junon! More competetion means more fun guys!! :D

I think this line needs huge consideration, since pvp is pretty unbalanced and admit it that there's gonna be a dominant class who will smack every other. It should be considered that every class has equal chances or something.

Perhaps if it had class locked "Last Man/Woman Standing", more players would be willing to give this a go. :ok:

Class locked 1v1 arena or something would be cool. At least until classes are well balanced in the game so we could have this event idea in the game.

 

EDIT: Or even 1v1 arena where you could choose which classes you would like to battle against before queue.

i would prefer a class locked deathmatch game than a 1 v 1 because a 1 v 1 can be the playground of one player which is the strongest or the most experienced in 1 v 1 among classes thus making him/her get rewards easier, just my opinion  :ok: . anyways, The schedule for the event for each class(All players) will be every after the previous event. and then the "Last Man Standing Set" will have its own unique design for each class.

i would prefer a class locked deathmatch game than a 1 v 1 because a 1 v 1 can be the playground of one player which is the strongest or the most experienced in 1 v 1 among classes thus making him/her get rewards easier, just my opinion  :ok: . anyways, The schedule for the event for each class(All players) will be every after the previous event. and then the "Last Man Standing Set" will have its own unique design for each class. 

 

And if there was line of sight, we would really have a pvp arena, where experience and skill would determine who is the winner.

That was would be pretty neat-o~

 

Just as long as players take the 1 vs 1 choosing class for just funies.

This game could really use more of that PVP potential. There's plenty of PVE in here. I think we need to force people to take interest in PVP too :x

This game could really use more of that PVP potential. There's plenty of PVE in here. I think we need to force people to take interest in PVP too :x

 

Sorry, but I disagree with this statement. You shouldn't have to FORCE anyone, to take any kind of an interest in this game. If they aren't here willingly, they aren't going to stay. I am not much of a PvPer, and if you attempt to force it on me, I am going to go play something else.

Sorry, but I disagree with this statement. You shouldn't have to FORCE anyone, to take any kind of an interest in this game. If they aren't here willingly, they aren't going to stay. I am not much of a PvPer, and if you attempt to force it on me, I am going to go play something else.

 

Dude, not like force to force but more like encourage people to do GA. Now there's few people in the queue and it takes like 1 hour to join one CD. We need more people.

And its the player's choice if he wants to join the PVP event and have a chance at the rewards. If you are not more into PVP then you could just ignore every PVP event that will be held and let those players who are thirsty for competition have some fun and rewards for themselves, which i think many players are.

i don't like that idea of last man standing game .. there will always be OP class that kill everyone and win.. but this game need more pvp options.. 

like someone said here, a 1vs1 games or 3vs3 maybe .. i liked the idea of having a npc buffer. this would help alot in CD or in all the other games .. right now CD is pretty much based on the cleric if hes good you win.. 

i think they should allow goulash and red potion in Cd's or if they make new games allow goualsh and red potions and put npc buffer .could be great
