So I want to get into this field, and...
I have done a bit of research here and there about product vs. quality, etc
I am not an expert on this, so... I need advice from you guys/gals out there who are amateurs or experts in this field...
The ideal lens for star gazing is 10 x 50 mm ; ideally.
Some people go for 7 x 35 mm ~ 10 x 50 mm
My concern is the budget. I want to start with the 10 x 50 mm
Now there are quite a few manufactures out there
* Nikkon
* Celestron
* Bushnell
* Orion
etc
Like I said... I don't know too much about this, so... I read comments about people with experience and throw curve-ball term-notations such as: "Sporter, ruby, ocean pro, multi - coated, non- fully coated, marine, tropical."
What does that all mean?
I am baffled by all the jargon... I need help, anyone care to share their thoughts and advice?
Thank you sincerely,
Hellraiser
