Salamanders and Mana Flames are bugged in dungeons.

Today while doing dungeons on my cleric, I noticed that when the summons died (flames and salamanders), the summon bar would go away, but the animation was still there for quite some time. I was not lagging when this happened, and it happened everytime. Here is a screen shot, you can see my HP is almost gone, the summon bar is gone, yet the flames/salamanders are still visible.

did you see any "green" healing numbers? even after they ran out? if no then it s just a visual bug.

To be honest Matt, I was so focused on the HP of my group, I wasn't looking for numbers. I normally watch the HP bars of the group list.

to me it looks like just an visual bug - if you were able to resummon the flames it should have been fine i guess... and btw don theal through the group bar better focus on "in game" bars and heal through them . difference between good clerics and normal ones is that those heal "before" the damage kicks in - like in pvp you see good clerics focusing their targets depending on what the enemy/monster focuses but ok. as i said in my opinion just a visual bug and resummon those -> problem solved.

Well the problem is, since I don't realize they are gone, I run out of MP, and can't resummon them.

Or, I could do as I have done here, post it in the bug reporting section of the forums. This way someone knowledgeable about these things could look at it, and get back to me if it truly is a just a visual bug or not, and maybe fix it so that it doesn't happen again. This never happened to me before the patch, so I have my doubts about it just being a visual thing.

I'm not sure but this seems to be the same issue. We were on Orlo and a cleric had come over to ask about a party. He/she ended up going to a bigger party when someone shouted but the salamanders that this person made (circled in red) stayed long after the person had driven away. In my experience with visual bugs, they usually only show on your own game client. I realize in the desert it's not unusual to see a mirage but still :P

Genesis, sorry it took me so long. I had to go away for two days in a row, and then I had the live stream yesterday. I did test this outside of dungeons. They last a micro second longer, but you know they are going to go away because they turn. In dungeon, they just stayed.
