Sooo....I came across a little problem today. I found out there is a pet dye potion available in the item mall. I guess it's purpose is to give your pet a different color.

So far so good, but I got three important questions:

 

1) How on earth can I find out which pet egg (just by looking at them in the item mall) can use the pet dye potion and which not? 

(I haven't found any notice on any pet egg in the item mall)

 

2) When I dye a pet, does the whole body color change, or just some parts?

 

3) Can I choose the color, or does the potion just give a random one?

 

 

Out of all three, question number 1 is most important to me. 

 

Is there a listing of any sort, that shows all pets that can be dyed?

I don't believe there is a way to determine if a pet can be dyed. 

 

Only a select few can be like the Panda, Lion, Pig, Squirrel, Lizard, and maybe 1 or 2 more.

 

You can chose the color of the dye and on some pets, it changes how they look a bit. Not entirely.

We really need a big Mount Guide where we can see every skill+ skill level with pictures from every pet color and so on. this would be so awesome.

Canceled concepts for fighter pets. They had more unique attacks and could wear costumes.

Like I said, that'd be awesome but they were intended to be Fighter Pets that worked off more features (Pet inventory, Promotions, More skills, Costumes) that were canceled. I'd like to know if any sort of max-stat exists because as awesome as they are, nothing beats a Car-pet competitively.

I for sure would love a pig/panda pet.

I always looked with greedy eyes at the little piggie Amy has in the little fence at Port of the Winds..... 

But I wouldn't say no to a panda pet too. 

 

 

Do you happen to have the names of the little piggie/panda?

I've always asked myself what their names had been.....

The Panda's name is PingPing or Ming(I forget which)

The Lion's name is Leo

Pig idk it's name since no one has one.

 

they give +10 to Vit,Agi,Str,Int

The panda also can change costumes depending on it's mode(Fighting or Standby) and I'm assuming the Lion can also.

 

As for dying pets All pre-DSxRagnarok Mounts(excluding Knight Bat(the elga one) and Toothless I believe) and Event Mounts can be dyed

-Gold Dragon

-Tiger

-Liger

-Lizard

 

Griffon and Felion can't but have alternate color versions.

Night Bat I don't think can but Midnight Calm is a black version of it.

Dark Flip I'm also unsure. As alternate color versions exist from events.
