Guys, I read the description of the headgear, Rideword hat and it says that "when physically melee attacking, there is a 1% chance to recover 4% of your damage as SP."

My question is, does it work when a gene uses cart cannon? I have assumed that it wouldn't work but someone recommended it saying that it works. I would like to clarify with you guys if it works with cart cannon.

From experience, if you are using cart cannon and running out of sp then you need a bit more int.

As others have said it works. CC can even proc the DEF bypass on twin edge swords.

From experience, if you are using cart cannon and running out of sp then you need a bit more int.

From experience, that means you aren't leveling fast enough.

Its working and i always use RWH, incubus pet, fish in mouth, and Pain killer for leveling....  My hp & sp rarely goes below 80 % :P

really useful especially for mass mobbing ^^

As a geneticist, you should never need RWH to level if you're built like you're suppose to be.

My experience was that SP was almost never a problem when doing almost anything with a genetic - and by the looks of some of the other posts above, this is not an unusual experience.

How much int do you have? My instinct is to suspect that your int is lower than it should be (Int helps CC damage too), or you're doing low damage (due to gear/weapon/level/low str/low level), and hence having to cast more times to kill each mob.

I'm gonna move this topic over into the class subforum.

Int is around 60 @ level 100.

dex is 60 as well, and vit is 75, str is 80.
