Every time I see an item that's one of a few possible sets, I can't help but to wonder if you get the bonuses for multiple sets at once with one item. Take the O)din's Blessing for example:

 

Set Bonus with Valkyrja's Shield[1], Fricca's Circlet:

Def+2

MDef+5

Each upgrade made to the headgear raises MDef instead of Def.

 

Set bonus with Fricco's shoes, Falcon Muffler:

Agi+3

MHP+5%

MSP+5%

 

Would having all the gear on multi-set items give you all the set bonuses normally? And are there any exceptions to the norm?

That's at I figured, but for some reason, I had some doubts. A part of my mind was thinking that one set would work, but the other set would consider the item as being in use, or something. It's hard to explain... Either way, thank you.

Other thing to note is you can only qualify for a set once. Like if the set is shoe+specific accessory, wearing 2 of the same accessory doesn't double the bonus.

i thought i saw somewhere on youtube or somewhere else a person wearing thorny buckler and 2 bison horns, and when one of the bison horn is taken off, aspd drop 1 flat point... is it just a coincidence since its giving 2 agi and he have like 1xx.99 points?

Its possible removing an item removes the bonus despite still meeting the bonus due to it only checking that a required item for the bonus was removed. Relogging or changing maps probably restores said persons aspd. This type of bug is common in ro...
