Apparently today, Robin Williams has passed away!  From news reports, he has been battling severe depression for a while.  He was a outstand actor and comedian.  He played Mork in Mork and Mindy, which was a TV series.  He did many stand up comedies during his early career!  He was in Jumanji, Ms Doubtfire, Good Morning, and many other movies.  Unfortunately, another great person and actor that passed away too soon.  =(  We will miss you, Robin!

Technically off topic but I think it is okay for this to stay for a few days as I also am sad. I loved Mork and Mindy. I would sneak out of my room at night and watch it in the old family rocking chair. I almost never got caught so I watched quite a bit of his work growing up.

Wow, well thats a shame. With the exception of a couple movies, he was a great actor and made alot of people laugh.

The world has definitely lost a legend. He will be greatly missed by many. Now to get all his works I don't currently have to share with future generations.

His smile. It had been a while since I watched a robin williams movie, but that reminded me how his smile always seemed so bright and happy. Even through that beard in that commercial, you can see his joy directed towards his daughter.

My mother informed me of this at work today...  I've always loved his comedy and movies, I'll have to listen to Night at the Met again...  He had an iconic voice and smile that you would never forget.  I'm glad there are others here to share in this time of mourning.

the series was actually cancelled... it cost too much to make and didnt get the attention it deserved... it was a good series while it lasted...
