Well you can level and do quest at the same time. You just need to find a quest that gives exp ;)

Quest gives zulie, exp and sometimes uniuqe items. So there are some quests that some are really good to do. (Like Hirias Tears I belive you spell it like that).

It kind of depends on your playing style. There are a lot of quests on just about every map and they all give you extra exp in addition to the exp you get from killing monsters. Usually the npc's that give the quests are near the monsters that are required so it's easy to keep repeating the quests until you out level an area.  Personally I like the idea of questing to progress thru the game but everyone has their own opinion on that.

If you plan to make your muse into a fs cleric, you'd probably want to consider making a second character to help level the muse. However, there are other options. Here is a good guide on all of the different possibilities  http://forums.warppo...s-v496-updated/  Check that out and see what sounds best to you.

If you decide to do quests, you can find a lot of information on the wiki  http://rose.irowiki.org/wiki/Main_Page  You can also check in this section of the forum for guides on some of the more involved quests. Good Luck!  I hope you have fun playing here :)

In answer to your question, it all depends. Do you want to get to max level as fast as possible? If you do, then grinding (preferably in a party) is the way to go. If you are not so much in a rush, then by all means, quest. You will get experience, but you will also get zulie, and some cool items for your character to use by questing. For instance, in Zant. If you start the Hero Quest (the one where you get the bell icon at level 15). You can get a real nice piece of jewelry for your character. For you, since you're going to go muse, talk to Keenu, if you're going to go soldier, talk to Cornell, or if you are going to go hawker, talk to Lena. Unfortunately, there is nothing for a dealer in this part of the quest, but there is a nice ring later on. If you do the progression quests, which take you from AP to Junon, you will get weapons, and armor.
