ok so i notice there not many axe mechs which is understandable with mado dmg being really good at higher lvl but what i wanted to know is what kind of dmg have you guys been getting with good gear(no god items pls)

 

I was thinking about grabbing the rwc ring and attempting to enchant it with expert archer 4 and getting my Sea Captains hat to +9 for the 40% overal dmg to axe tornado.....was also wondering if i can get you guys input on a overal good head slot card

I currently have

 

+4 sea captains hat

Robo Eyes

+4 Ebones armor/peco peco card

+5 Giant axe/not carded

+9 immune mateu

Variant shoes

Medal of honor(merchant)

Cat hand/Mantis card

 

My stats are

LVL 116

Str:101

Agi:65

Vit:76

Int:1

Dex:74

Luck:8

 

any advice on weapon enchants and gear to make axe mech pvm dmg more effective would be greatly appreciated ty

atm i can only dish 5~6k per tornado, with 70 STR and 90 VIT. havent try sea captain yet since i'm 99 tho... only a clean RWH to help me get back the sp wasted

from what i know you cant really get complete max dmg until 150 since its also based off base lvl as well but for me with those stats full buffed without using max powerthrust i get about 8-9k and with wind converter about 12k and if i get sea captain hat to +7 thats 10 more% and +9 would be an addition 10% as long as u have the 10 points in weapon research

i'm quite aware of that, just curious if it can be pumped so the damage aint bad at its level without sacrificing necessary defenses

there's also too few place to level over 115 to utilize wind converter effectively...

sea captain will give +40% additional axe tornado dmg. dont forget your vit since it affects tornado dmg too. it is wise to get FS enchant rather than EA enchant for all around atk skill. try str temporal boots also with FS enchant and bear power or lucky day enchant. use +9 HBP for more atk and other bonus. porcellio carded armor. if you can afford, try hurricane fury.

btw, best headgear card to pump the damage is prolly seyren card

I am currently raising up a Blacksmith character to become an axe mechanic. I'll let you know of findings, here, within the coming days.

Hurricane fury would be a better weapon but if you don't like pulse strike then giant axe is good. When I was leveling I pretty much focused more on gears like shadow garb, hunterfly carded weapon, vanargand helm, etc. Cause I would rather save consumables while leveling. Maximize power strike really buffs your damage by a lot. Temporal boots with bears power enchant would prolly increase you damage by a lot. What I pretty much did was get 193 aspd for more dps because higher tier monsters won't get one shotted by axe tornado anyway(depends on monster). Axe boomerang is really awesome and I did not like power swing because if anything there's hscr.
My stats are something like this:
Str: 99
Agi: 99
Vit: 99
Int: 29
Dex: 99
Luk: 2

do you alternate axe tornado with something while it's on delay?

or basically you ctrl-click your last levels?

It pretty much depends on the situation. If it's a mob then I use axe tornado + boomerang combo. If it's a single monster then auto attack(since I have 193 aspd). If the monster has a high hp then HSCR. But most of the lazy times I have I just spam tornado + boomerang. With the gears I listed and incubus pet, sp is not a problem. Mild wind helps too. If you have a high aspd then the proc shouldn't be a problem as well. The only usual problem I get is when I run out of healing items because you will still need healing items when you get mobbed even tho the build is quite tanky. Status effect cards are also awesome. Curse from Medal of Honor proc'd a lot for me.

merchant medal of honor = cheap bakonawa tattoo. u can get it for 100m by buying 500 OPB @200k zeny.

tell me the best axe to utilize hunter fly + vanargand efficiently. is it hammer [3] or u just go with 1 slotted weapon? then, how you get tanky without shield since u use two handed axe?

I use an over upgraded berdyz[3] but I'm not sure if that would be the best one. With the amount of vit I have, gives me a lot of hp(mechs have good hp mod) and def enough for me to be tanky even without a shield.

but that was cool tho, seriously, 193 aspd... doesnt need aspd faw or hbp... still needs a +12 red isabella it seems

but that tornado is too weak to level after 125+... need to rely heavily on tanking gears and pots. and yeah, i think 193 aspd is the way to go with axe...

Well I used to use demon mask + horns. Now with shadow gears it's easier with that current additional stats. But I have 192 without Isabella and if I use consumables then you can keep the 193 without it. I only had regular VIP buff and skill buffs and increase Agi and berserk. If I were to use Celermine, wear an Agi+3 valk, maybe a shinobi pet can keep 193 as well without Isabella. You can get aspd enchant on weapon too. Pile bunker would do better dmg for HSCR. Sorry it's not a leveling vid. But I did play that char full axe til 150. Yeah axe tornado is weaker but if you wear temporal boots with bears power and sea captains hat then your damage should be fine.Sorry I'm too lazy to do a better vid.
