It always patch 8/20/14 datas everytime I close the game and reopen the client. Anyone having the same problem?

fail to upload? Do you mean fail to download? Why? Does your internet get disconnected?

 

I had the same patching problem too and I got it fixed by downloading from that site.

I"ve patched normally AND with the damn site, it ALWAYS stops at the SAME number in the patch sequence near the end, then completes the patch it says, and I log on, items unknown for new gears, I shut down and restart, it repatches every time

i had that same problem until i did what camp said and downloaded that missing file and manually put it in my iRO folder... now everything works fine

Sometimes I think people are hard of hearing(reading and comprehending in this case)...I've already said, I DID THIS ALREADY.

got the same problem but in my guild told me patch the classic first then the renewal, im trying this, if that doesnt work will try this

I errored out on 2014-08-20data_gm_r.gpf when patching.

 

I tried downloading that file by itself and put it in my RO folder, but I still encountered the error.

 

I downloaded all 8 patch files for 2014-08-20 and put them together in my RO folder, and I no longer encountered the error.

delete your patch2 file in the ragnarok directory and you guys are golden.

 

P.S - you guys are going to experience alot of lag getting on due to the amount of people trying to connect to the patch url because of this problem so be patient.

For me works manual download and paste in the ragnarok folder

Wow this was a problem way back 2014 and I encountered it just now. So weirrddd... I was able to play an hour ago, but now it's repatching everything since 2014-08-20

Oh wait, I was able to fix it instantly by modifying the patch2.txt in the Ragnarok folder, and commenting out the following:

 

2602 2014-08-20data_gm_ragexe.rgz

2605 2014-08-20data_gm_maps_r.gpf

2606 2014-08-20data_gm_r.gpf

2607 2014-08-20data_gm_notice.rgz

2608 2014-08-20data_gm_desc_r2.gpf

2609 2014-08-20data_gm_r2.gpf

 

No need to download those huge patch files. Maybe it will help someone here who will encounter the same problem as mine.
