I started playing RO Renewal earlier this week and from the suggestions given to me from another post, I decided to make an archer and a swordsman. They're level 43 and 32 respectively.
Yesterday, I went to Hugel to do the hunter job change quest, but it seems that the item set required is too challenging. I need 3 dokebi/dokkaebi horns and 3 pieces of egg shell.
From the database, two monsters drop dokebi horns: Dokebi (level 68) and Am Mut (level 76). I can't kill them. So I tried to search Ragial Market to see if anyone is selling them. No one is. I also went to Prontera to look through the vendors but still can't find them.
For the piece of egg shell, all the monsters that drop them are too strong for me to kill (ex. Draco Egg, Uni-horn Scaraba Egg, etc), except Eggyra. But the drop rate from Eggyra is around 5%.
I went to Payon Cave 2 to try to kill them nevertheless. I managed to kill one while spamming pots (because I was being attacked by a bunch of aggressive monsters. Then I died right after checking to see if it dropped the shell. It didn't. I went back and the same thing happened again. The EXP loss from dying isn't too much of an issue, but the pots used are, since I'm still a newbie and broke.
I checked Ragial Market and the vendors in towns and no one is selling them. And it seems that I'll have to wait weeks to finally find someone who is selling the horns and the shells.
What should I do now?
