Brief to start quest:

These instance are available in the Dimensional Gap.

A place that can be accessed via the Transport Device found at Ash Vacuum.

You will be warped to a new place with black background and blue translucent path.

Walk left and you will reach the center that overlays a clock, and should see 2 NPC namely Sundries Merchant and Logistic Manger.

There are 5 forks;

(1) 7 o'clock direction: Faceworm (Requirement: Lvl 140 and above)

  • Talk to Magic Scholar to reserve instance
  • Click on Interdimensional Device to warp
  • Kill 21 faceworms and queen (Refer Zayaan's video)
  • Note to soloist: Prepare Token of Siegfried just so you don't have to return to last save place and fail to enter the instance again. This instance can only be accessed once.
  • Additional note: Only 1 hour is allocated time to complete the instance. Cooldown timer is 23 hours.

(2) 1 o'clock direction: Sara's Memory

  • Talk to Leon the Adventurer to start the quest
  • Click on Dimensional Device and select "Boot up device"
  • When instance is ready, click on Dimensional Device again and select option 2 to enter
  • Talk to Sara Irene to start (Story starts with conversation between Sara Irene and you taking place and later Doyen her father appears before long. After Sara and Doyen disappears, Strange Oldman A and B conspire plot toward Sara)
  • As soon as all the conversations end, walk toward the nearest warp portal on your left and you'll appear on the upper left corner of Payon town.
  • Talk to Sara Irene again, she'll disappear and guards/monsters will spawn/appear. Defeat guards and monsters.
  • Continue to look around for Sara Irene and defeat those monsters. You should be moving in direction as below.
  • ZVd9SQC.png
  • Upon defeating those guards and monsters, you will find various stat food as reward.

What is available at the end of the rest of other forks? They lead to Manuk, Splendide and Morroc.

Big thanks to Zayaan for video demo, and others that dropped their input.  :)

The amount of Faceworms spawned in parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 is 21 + (party members * 11).

The hidden monster at the middle of poison zones in part 4 can do 1k+ damage at 193 ASPD if you move to the middle of the zones. Damage dealt by the hidden monster is NOT poison element, but neutral reductions probably work and it might be reduced by Alice Card (or increased if the hidden monster isn't boss flagged). I havn't tested. Faceworm Queen and the Giant Faceworm at the end of part 4 can summon these monsters.

Faceworm Queen has 28m + (party members * 2m) HP when it spawns, but its max HP is always 50m. This means it will always take 1m damage from Spell Breaker level 5. If the blue eggs summoned by Faceworm Queen aren't killed it will heal 1m * party members in HP. Each broken egg decreases this by a certain amount. If Faceworm Queen moves far away from its nest (the black area at the middle), it will enter Fury mode. Watch out for its normal attacks (12k per hit!) and Earthquake in this mode. Its AOE is fullscreen unlike the Earthquake used by the normal form and deals ~90k damage per hit.

a faceworm completion video please. me and my guild did initial run yesterday to get the grasp about what this instance is about. we got kicked after we run out of time after beating the boss on 4th stage (damn, one step closer to the queen).

Here are what i observed the challenge on each stage:

1st stage: no challenge, only faceworms. the boss doesnt have any special moves.

2nd stage: i guess it has more faceworm larva traps. the boss uses multi waterballs.

3rd stage: exploding venom bugs!!! the boss spawns exploding venom bugs.

4th stage: poison pools. the boss spawn a poison.

5th stage: the queen

5 MVP cards were used. Not counting the ones in the weapon but those don't really matter. `~`

true, ankle snare has duration of 20 sec and reduced by agi/10 sec. faceworm queen has 100 agi, so it will have the duration of 10 sec. careful if she goes to wind mode, since she has 400 agi.

What's the actual reward for completing the faceworm instance ? Didn't feel like we got much yesterday, even in the treasure boxes after the mvp.
