Sorry for the lame question but I am not really familiar with the advanced refinement system. I have already read through more than ten topics about it but I couldn't find an exact answer...

 

So basically my question is, can Mechanics use Enriched and HD Oridecons/Eluniums or are those only for the NPCs?

Those are only for NPCs.

The upgrade weapon skill has not been changed. It still works just as it has before, using steel or oridicon to upgrade weapons. Only weapons can be upgraded, and only using Oridicon.

 

Smith classes could never use elunium, except through the npcs.

Oh I totally forgot about Eluniums, I'm really sorry. I've only upgraded Weapons with Whitesmithes before.
