I thought perhaps, having a public transportation system would be nice in Rose. It would work like this. I am in Junon Polis, and want to go to Breezy Hills. I go to a certain spot and wait. Every 15 minutes or so, a vessel of some sort appears. I pay a fee, and board, and it takes me to where I need to go. Different spots would be for different destinations.

I like the idea, but IMO It would feel random for me :s, having NPc´s that teleport you, carts that can go at 2100 or more, and mount that go at 1500, you would need to make it and insta-teleporter or maybe its not efficient and its more for fun

I like the concept of the idea I always enjoyed the scenery of ROSE.

Players have the option of either using the scrolls or transportation could be cool~ Maybe... a bunch of Moldie pulling a Kart of sorts.

Well the idea is to give players a choice. They can choose to wait for the next available vessel to take them to their destination, or they could run/ride/scroll there. These vessels could take you to Breezy Hills, El Verloon, Forest of Wisdom, etc. If you run out of scrolls accidentally, no problem, take one of the vessels.

On one server I played (before the one that recently closed) we had a school bus that would take you from outside of Junon Polis to the Forest of Wisdom. If I remember right, it dropped you off by those bridges in the middle of that map, It looked like a yellow school bus and there were bus stop signs and everything - it was pretty neat. Of course, at my last server, muses had an optional portal skill that could be used to teleport to the main cities, Adv Plains, and the three clanfields and that was the best

 

I love this idea but I'm not sure it would work here since there are already the teleportation tickets that you can use to get just about everywhere. I've always assumed that it's the main reason there are not more scrolls available here in general and it makes sense from a business standpoint, especially on Orlo.

 

 A cart or a wagon pulled by Moldies would totally rock- maybe that could be worked into an event or something if not added as a permanent thing.
