Guys i was wondering is there a way to miss mattk ? Like how we have p dodge for melee attak.

Also can anyone enlight me on difference between gearly defence throug gears n increasing int to reduce dmg.

if their mdef is high enough, then it is possible to miss magic attacks

gear mdef(hard mdef) reduce matk by percentage, where as int mdef(soft mdef) reduce the exact amount

there are only a few ways to avoid getting hit by magic... using hide for non earth magics, reflecting it back at the caster, using a Golden Thief Bug carded shield or the Kagerou/oboro skill Pure Soul...

pretty neat skill but has a cooldown and not 100% dodge.

 

obviously if you have a GTB shield then you are good to go.

100% elemental resist will reduce it to either 1 or misses depending.(diamond dust from a sorc will miss and never crystalize if you have 100% water resistance for example)

It's not about mdef, The element attack tolorance you receive from either gear or skills.

Reduces damage from all elements by 5%. 
Luk +5, Hit +10, Reduces casting delay by 5%. 
If refined to +7 or higher, has a chance of getting Mastela Fruit when attacking monsters. Chance to drop increases by 1% for each refine level over 7. 

 

You can adjust your gear to reach 100% to either of the element, and the damage you received from that element will becomes 1. In WoE regulation, damage less or equal to 1 will be ignored. Which means if you have 100% water resistance, you can walk through SG without being hit stopped.

I want to make a char for pdodge. Cheap one. N also gears with lots of mdef from gears. So i can shift instantly specially fOr party..

I know pdodge gears r cheap i mean not exceeding 50 mill. But what abt mdef. Like crystal pumps n stuff with mdef stats.

mdef will never make magic miss it's like

 

mdef/(mdef + 115) * the magic damage you would take.

 

So 115 mdef is half damage. I think that's the magic number.

improve tights + linen glove 8 PD
2x yoyo card 10 PD
+9 valk mant 23 PD
Fortune sword 20,5 PD
tarnished lamp 1 PD
current event shadow set 1 PD
total: 68,5 PD

if u want a bit extreme add
mischief fairy 3 PD
choco card 5 PD
crystal pumps 0,5 PD
120 luk 12 PD
poring card 1 PD
total 90 PD

for shield use hodremlin to add 30 PD by chance
for shoes any temp boots with lucky day enchant to get 20 PD by chance

i made almost excellent tanker in TI using Pdodge. my preference i use raydric card instead of choco and muscle fool enchant temp boots for efficiant tanking.
dont forget your elemental armor and elemental proof pots to tank magics and elemental attacks since pdodge cant dodge skills.
