I'm trying re-downloading it, but it will take at least 10 hours... any help before that time will be oh so appreciated.

ikr. the only solution is copy a friends working RO2 files.

So I thought I was the only one getting this problem. By any chance all of you are also Aeria players?

I'm trying to completely re-download (since the installer was already downloaded) instead of just re-installing (which hasn't worked).

Gonna update if it works!

Apparently re-downloading the installer and patching it all over again solved the problem.

Not sure if it was because of the last small maintenance tho.

Sometimes patches then to corrupt or delete some files for some reason. Reinstalling works like a charm everytime.

I found the solution to the problem but a little late.

 

enter the folder:

 

Warpportal > Ro2 > Patches> deleted files accumulated there 

 

try to update again.
