is there anyway to give penalties or ban these very abusive players? abusive in a way that they are disrupting other players? yesterday I have encountered such a player who lured the boss in OT in our pt because I didn't let him join the pt he is raider so once he lured the boss to us he just hides so the boss will change targets and thus wiped out our entire pt, and when I talked to him he said he will target our clans in pvp zones, we are just trying to level up and yet he keeps doing it again and again that's for almost an hour he kept doing it >.< he was really very rude man if he is in front of me right now I could slaughter him grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I think you should make a ticket. Here is the link to WP support  https://support.warp...in/Default.aspx  There is a option called "abusive behavior" in the ticket process and it sounds like this might qualify. Some amount of trash talk is expected in an online game, but when one person harasses another person to the point that they can no longer play, most games will give some sort of punishment. I know we gave a 3 day temp game ban at my old server, and if the abuse continued, stronger punishments were given

 

You will need proof so be sure to take screenshots that show the whole conversation. That's very important so you can also prove that you did nothing to cause the action yourself. Give the support team 48 hours to respond and keep checking your email in case they ask some questions.

 

Please don't let this discourage you.  There are disagreeable people in every game but most players here are not like that.  We had something similar happen to us in Orlo the other day. As you said,  it was a hawker who then used stealth once he brought the king to our salamanders so that the king started attacking us. When he saw that we were able to kill the king, I guess he got pissed and went away lol so we never reported him

:/ doing that to botter is okay since they bot anyway but doing that to hard playing players is just not right anyway I'll try to get some proofs next time I was really annoyed yesterday T_T

just send a ticket to Devs Support team with player name and wat he did, if is possible send a pic.

Support team Filip means Depending on the player's history and other factors, they may be able to deal with him/her.

how do I know they replied to my ticket? I see it in mail? honestly I'm so pissed today I'm trying to level up in ruins but the whole day [mod]*Names removed* Please don't name players in Forums. [/mod] killed everyone in ruins I already filed a ticket on them but I don't know I quit for today it's so hard finding a decent pt only for them to ruin

Yes, every time they respond to your ticket, you will get an email. If you have not created an account with the warpportal support, I suggest you do so. Then you can log in and view all your tickets. As for Pking in ruins. Well, it is a pvp map, and that is one of the risks you take. If you don't like to be pked, go to Marsh of Ghosts or Sikuku Underground Prison.

No, the Sikuku Underground Prison is not a PvP map. It used to be really good to level in (especially r4), but since they made it too hard to bot there, you can't find a party there anymore. I have leveled there since the change, and I like it. It is quite a challenge. If you can get a party where no one is botting you could try there. Marsh of Ghosts is also a viable substitute, although I don't think it has all the aoe spots that Ruins does. There are PvP maps on every planet. DoD, and clan fields on Junon Polis, Clan Fields on Luna, Ruins on Eldeon, and Gates of Muris on Orlo. They have these maps because PvP is basically what drives these games. Generally, the xp is better in the PvP maps, to help offset the risk.

The point of a pvp map is so that players can kill each other. The whole pvp mentality has never made sense to me but for a lot of people it's the main reason they play an online game.  Personally I just avoid pvp maps whenever possible and as pdfisher said, there are non-pvp options available.  In your case, if you can document that a specific person is harassing you, I'm sure that person would get warned or punished but the key is being able to prove it. At my old server, harassment had to occur more than one time by the same player and it was important to see the whole conversation, not just one part, so we could be sure that the attack was not provoked. We gave a temp game ban for a first offense, and it went up if there were more documented complaints about the same person. 

 

And as for being "banned for no reason" be careful what you believe. I don't know what happened in llullTAKSIAPO's case but there is always a clear reason for a ban. I worked on tickets at my old server and every single person that got banned made a big stink at the forum about how unfair it was and that they did nothing wrong even tho the reasons had been explained to them. It's hard for others to understand when a friend is banned but rules are rules and we all play this game knowing the consequences for breaking the rules. Sad to see the game lose a player but it's very unlikely that this ban was unjustified.

 

Anyway I hope you will continue playing despite a few bad experiences. Don't let anyone ruin the fun for you

i think pk'ing in ruins is normal  coz its a pvp zone, you cna pk all you ant and ruins are botters area so its cool to watch people dying while they are botting hahaha

I don't understand that I can kill but don't make it harassment? I will kill when I maxed a main char since killing in pvp zones is okay so yeah I'll have fun hunting down people in ruins in the future lol

Harassment is when a player is killed by the same person over and over again. So, if you are in ruins, and get pked, it's legal. However if this same player repeatedly pks you, then it could be a case of harassment. If this is the case, take a screen shot. If the player abuses you verbally (well in the chat), take a screen shot, and then submit them in with a ticket.

that is very easy to say, I mean that's what they did to us it's harassment already they have beeing pking us for 8 hours? O.o how is that not harassment but the thing is how to prove it since there's no way to prove such abuse then might as well join them when I have the chance

 

anyway why the price of beryl so high? O.o it's even higher than diamonds OMG I don't know how I can put beryl's on my cleric anymore pdfisher can you craft me some and sell for low price? 200m or maybe less? man 350m for beryl is overkill I farmed for a 2 weeks and only got 400m in my stash but anyway if you can't then it's cool maybe I'll just farm like 3-6 months to compete a bery'l set for my cleric :/ not to mention charm items are so costly too 1-3 years of farming to compete my cleric dream set lol :/

hahahha :/ oh well was just so pissed at those pkers T_T I'm farming now in a different area where it's not pvp I don't care if the xp is low as long as it's steady :/ I hate ruins now many of my new found friends keep pm me on pt on ruins but nah I don't want too :/ I thought too that you would need low level beryl's to craft one so yeah might as well farm for that long time maybe it might be worth it

sorry but I didn't quite get what u meant lol the pker's got banned? or the innocent got banned? coz if it's the pkers I doubt it's them coz you may need a lot of proof, video the best proof but still not enough since they will say maybe u pissed them off? maybe something triggered why it's like this and like that thus the issue wont be solved good luck banning the pkers, since it's a pvp area it's free to kill even if killing the person over and over and over and over again just like what the other guys stated above it' legit to KILL ALL U in pvp areas >.<

Sorry for the confusion. All I meant is that when someone says at a forum that they were "banned for no reason" it's probably not true.  Like Saraoi said, it's always good for some forum drama- grab your popcorn and enjoy the show lol

 

As for pkers in a pvp zone-  chances are it's going to happen because killing other players is the reason there are pvp zones in the first place. When you choose to go to a pvp map, you accept that risk. It's kind of like being a non-smoker that goes into a bar where smoking is allowed- you can't go there expecting to find the air fresh and clean.

 

Harassment is always difficult to prove, but even harder when it takes place in an area where pvp is allowed. It's possible to do but you really need to have the whole thing documented. Honestly it would be easier to just find another non-pvp place to train and it sounds like you have done that now. There are so many ways to enjoy this game, I never feel forced to do things that I really dislike and for me, that means avoiding places like the ruins where pvp is a definite probability.
