The weapon it self doesn't drop but drops pieces which I'm assuming after needs to be "crafted".
According to Alteris (from past twitchtv livestream);
By database logs, there is ONE piece dropped in game (don't know which server) and don't know who, and not sure if that person is aware what he/she has.
