Well that's what people on jRO discovered about EQ. Maybe you could test it out :V
Edit: if this is correct, you can basically use deviling card in garment and endow your weapon to have a big damage boost, or use an alice card and do more damage.

I really wish I tested that before selling the dagger XD. It's hit or miss though, since EQ on our server is not amplified nor reduced by elemental/racial cards/neutral reductions.

In jRO it seems like deviling card does not reduce EQ damage either, so it's likely we have the same EQ mechanics...

Tested it. While I had Mild Wind (Wind Element) on and wearing Water Armor, I did more EQ dmg as oppose to wearing Neutral Armors.

Earthquake is a very unique attack that is quite unlike other skills out there.
First, the attack targets the user(in this case, YOU). Modifiers that would do more damage on yourself increase the damage. Yes, you are basically trying to do more damage to yourself. Element counts, as spike has shown.
However, you do NOT take any damage from this. They just calculate the damage.
Next, the damage that was calculated from hitting you is spread into your surroundings(splashed around you). This is what you get hit by when mvps like Ifrit use EQ. Here it's neutral property-ish(reduced by GR card but not deviling).
That's basically it. The trick to doing powerful EQs with the knife would then be finding ways to inflict more damage on yourself.
EQ damage is based off your attack, but it inflicts magic damage in the last stage where it splashes. I'm unsure if the first part is magical as well however.
I might translate the info on EQ that was tested in jRO in one particular blog some time, seeing how the mechanics are looking to be the same.
Thanks for the testing spike *_*

Judging by that it appears to be true that it is self targetting. If you had used DR FAW here, damage would have been 6600~7600 I believe
Also, Sunglasses with LK.....really...XD
BFG maybe?!
Can you try this for me buddy.
Fire Armor + DR garment + Water Endow from Sage (not converter) + Alice shield--this part might not work. (use EDP too) I think this will go way over 10k if I am thinking correctly

Aww not as high as I thought but we're on the right track. Need to get you a +14 Glorious Gladius now =D
It's pretty high minty (seemed like 5% to me) I imagine 2 daggers at 193 is near constant

Fire armor with Ktullanux card with water endow would be nice too.
LK card does not work for EQ on jRO neither.
So, might have same formula as jRO.

FYI, These are tested in jRO.
FBH card does not increase EQ damage.
ATK from icepick or Thanatos card won't be applied to EQ.
Odin, Striking, Windmill Rush, EDP are applied to EQ.
Does White Eddga work together? If so, it would increase EQ damage a lot.
