Jokes aside, nowadays I only see RKs DBing everywhere and that isn't fun.

Have anyone seen a skilled RK use parry and counter effectively?

No,

 

The modus operandi for RO's metagame is that almost all skills are useless, their existence is a troll by the dev team.

 

That is to say, if skill XYZ (in this case, parry) were any good, then this game wouldn't be RO anymore.  It would be some other game that is created by developers which are interested in creating a good game.  Just to be clear, RO has not been made by people who are interested in a good game for a decade.  It has been made by people who want to make a flashy game for emotionally immature players in desire of a massive power trip.  Having skills balanced to be of equal situational usefulness has never happened and will never happen, because such a balance would break the e-peens of everyone who still plays this game and pours money into it.

And his spine.

 

Either that or he's found away to ignore the "obey physical laws" part of gravitational displacement theory and I'LL HAVE WHAT HE'S HAVING.

 

On topic, Parry shmucks for anything other than tanking or autoattacking since a proc'd parry distrupts your skill usage, and other classes can do the tanking part better (and Parry = no shield). Counter on the other hand is a non-DB RK PvPing staple, like Death Bound, and hurts like a biach.

I don't have a DB RK, so I use Parry quite a bit...pretty much anytime I'm fighting anything really...except KK, she doesn't like me.

As a 2hand sword build, my RK frequently used Parry, though I've never used Counter, though.  Parry is a decent defense skill, it can even block skills like Gfist.  However, the fact that is stops you whenever it activates can be a pain at times.

I find it only stops for a split second, I never actually stop attacking on my RK when it activates.

I was talking to a friend about how SAO would be better if it had some bots around, and at least some people cheating. And at least some random females playing GGO appart from Shinon.
 

I mean, in the anime, there have been like 76544 male players walking around in GGO, plus 2 females (but since kirito is really a guy, Shinon is the only female in a game of several thousand male players). Females in GGO are rarer than MVP drops.

 

So Shinon could probably form a decent army with the hundreds of fans following her by now. Kirito already has an harem in standby at ALO.

 

Shinon army+ Kirito harem summoned from ALO could crush Death Gun in a second.

To be fair it's inside a video game so physics don't really apply.

 

Unless it's ice physics.

You forgot the Rule of Cool.

 

What I think is unfair is that Crusader's Guard also disturbs character's attack like Parry. They should balance it so that Guard is better than Parry for defensive purposes.
