I wanted to play this game(RO2) like 2 months ago but i got stuck with the Hackshield`s error code @1 "The program will be shut down by problem occurred in an anti-hacking function" (Photo Attached),and yesterday looking for an MMORPG i find again RO2 and decide to install it again.But when i was creating my character the error pops-up again...after 2 months...What are you devs doing if this issue is still up? I red some infos saying that this error occures on Windows 8.1 but again reading that a lot of Windows 8.1 users are playing the game w/o any problem i think that this is a false statement. I just want to know if at the moment is working at clearing this issue so i can decide if i wait to play this game, because it looks awesome, or i`ll just delete it...!

It seems that you just re-installed the game. Try downloading the game again and see if it fix your issue.

i didn`t reinstall it...downloaded it again and installed because i deleted it the first time when i encountered the issue because i couldn`t find a solution.Last time i installed the steam version and i got this error and now i found out that the game can be downloaded from WP too and i decided to try this one but again the same issue and after 2 hours of browsing for a solution nothing came out to fix  it.

 

 

 PS:Now i see that i posted on the RO1 forums and i apologize for this.It would be nice if a mod could move it to RO2.

same here there's no support for windows 8.1, reverting to windows 8, i wonder why they can't fix this? maybe they don't have the right tech support for it...

well, as you may know, Ragnarok Online is a very old game and their technology cannot keep up with the latest tech. They even haven't upgraded their DirectX to the latest.
