Hi guys
I'm quite confused which build I should go for. I've found a lot of suggestions for spellfist and hindsight and pvm/pvp hybrids but no suggestion for a support/caster pvm build. Maybe there is a good reason for it that I don't understand yet, so I hope to get some advise.
I want the best possible "sorc aoe dmg" while being able to support my party with SP, dispell and striking - if that is possible and clever to do so. If not, I'd like to lean towards Dmg and a suggestion what build to go for. Spell Fist and HIndsight seem to be both fun, so what's the advantage/disadvantage there?
I also don't understand the use or better the situation / playstyle yet, because I haven't seen a Sorc in action yet.
The first questions that come to my mind are:
a) If I cast e.g. Volcano, does an Insignia effect apply on top?
b1) Are Summons an important part of being a sorcerer? (I quite like that tbh. but is it viable? is it suitable for a caster/support build?)
b2) Should I also have a summon out for its buffs? 30k for a L3 Ventus doesn't seem to be a standard spell to cast.
c) Which Summons/Insignias should I go for? I have absolutely no clue how this is meant to be used oO Will I be forced to leave certain maps/mobs/bosses out or reskill especially for them? I think I've understand so far, that earth can be skipped?
c1) Is the skill Elemental Change the reason why Earth can be skipped?
d) Somebody patient enough to be Sorcerer Mentor?
