No Offense!I'm just being concern to my beloved online game Rose online!I just wanna suggest if u can return the policy or remove the policy of being restriction of certain equipment or what we called Character on lock! Because for me it make no sense in the game.i know your just doing these for the safety and security of every player item they have in there inventory or storage. which i love to see. but they are old enough to take responsibility for the account or player or items etc..if they going to play like these game they must be more wise enough! please please please! As one of the loyal players of rose online! I hope u can find better ways than this! ) I'm looking forward for more updates!

Hello JKmae,

since the Devs and a lot of other people are sleeping at the moment I will try to answer you properly why those restrictions got added:

If new gear (including honor/valor gear) gets released the new locking system will force ALL players to actually play the character they want to gear up.

 

For example: before this binding patch people were able to equip their first character very fast; then they farmed Honor/Valor Sets on their first character and easily traded them to their new character/class without even playing it!

So basically "old" players had a huge advantage compared to new players because even when they started playing new characters they were able to easily gear those up with way less work than the new players.

Of course it is at the moment hard to understand, because 90% of all Rose players have farmed their characters fully geared but for upcoming Patches this will actually increase the whole gaming experience for new and old players!

 

The fact that you were also able to play a lot of characters on a high gear level just by trading one set from character to character also made the whole Rose "endgame content" way "faster" - means you did not have to farm sets for all your characters; one set was pretty mutch enaugh for an unlimited amount of characters!

Summarised this Patch has several reasons:

 

- Slowing the endgame content by farming sets for all characters

- Reduction of the advantage of old players compared to new players (Equalising)

Hello! ) Thank you for responding to my topic! For now i already get what's the point for all this. Actually i admire your idea about locking those items. just to be fair to other new players! but there is lot player now quitting because of that policy. I'm just scared if this game will go ruin like the old days!Btw I can't process on the warportal the one which i could buy WP?

Hello JKmae,

but many will come back when they hear about new gear or new things - the problem is that drastic changes often scare people, and they judge before thinking properly - it was better to implement the changes step by step before any new stuff comes out to make people confident in the system.

I mean how would you think about new gear or any new things when they would be added together with those binding changes? You would automatically connect the changes with the new gear so you would get stuck in memories and get mad about the new stuff.

And from what I got told the binding changes were essential for upcoming changes
