Hello senpais and other beginners like me ! .

I have so many questions that I don't know from where to start, first of all let me introduce myself :
I play as Vathus (My characters name) a Swordman that want to become a proud knight that helps and protects the weak !

My current stats are the following :

Base Lvl. 44 and Job Lvl. 40
STR: 6 +5(from equipments), I am not that strong but it's comming I am still at training phase .
AGI: 46 +2
VIT: 3 +4, Poor me i die so easily.
INT: 1
DEX: 45 +4

LUK: 1 +1

Hp : 1216, Most of my HP's are from my equipments since I spent only 2pts in VIT.
SP: 118

As you can see my dear Senpais I am willing to max AGI and build an AGI Knight.

This is what brings me here demanding help from experienced players, it was easy for me to grind up to B.Lvl. 40 with the Eden Board Quests but now it started to be a little problematic , let me explain more, when i started to hunt Elder Willow and Coco I consumed about 40 novice potions because my dodging rate was enough good to only take 0 to 2 hits from the monsters i engaged, form those quests I was able to collect over 900~ novice potions , i thought that would be enough to continue my grinding but it turned to be horribly wrong when i faced the Orc Warriors, Orc Ladies and Orc Babies, from B.Lvl. 39 to 40 I consumed over than 400 novice potion, please understand me, losing that huge amount of potions made me so mad since i have no Zennys. Thats what brings me to talk of the 3rd Step of the Instrunctor Boya from the Eden Group Quest, to finish the quest the player must reach the Orc Village, i know where the village is (gef_field10) but THER ARE SO MANY ORCS , They run after me and kill me i can't even explore the map . Puliz Senpais tell me how to finish this quest .

 

But it's not my main problem, I have a much biger one a seriously big problem .

To become a Knight i must pass test given from the Knights in the Chivalry Guild, the first step is about collecting items from monsters, and there is especialy one item : Heart of Mermaid. I can't find this item anywhere, from what i found in the net it's looted from a VIP dungeon, and I am not a VIP member how the hell can i finish a job changing quest that demands to become VIP ?

 

To finish this "Help Me topic" I would talk about equipments including Two-Handed Swords, if there is a certain Stuff that i have to loot from monsters just tell me please.

  for the info. I got helped from a member of the forum, he helped me gather all the materials and showed me how some other things IG.

Now I am doing the Payon hunting quests and it helps a lot, I didn't notice that quest board at all It's a great way to Lvl. up.

But I still have some other things to know about the game like how to upgrade my Eden Two-Handed Sword, or maybe there is a much better 2H-Sword.

 

PS : Has someone a good merchant build ?

check the class forums for build advice.  if you're just starting out though i wouldn't try to level a merchant for anything besides vending initially; they can be pretty expensive to build up.

1. If Agi knight, you may want to try mura knight build... it just cheap for a long term, expensive to start in my opinion. Eden can't be upgraded but can be enchanted. You will ditch it up to a certain level.

 

2. You will need to pump str because bowling bash/bb is the best aoe for knight, but other class kills more than you (always) due to weird mechanics of bb. With enough str and familiarity with bb, you may survive the orc map (they are so many in a single map)

You will need vit, to be more useful in party, most of the time you just be a puller (it's a reality). But your flee will always save you in 1vs1. I like agi knight, it's cheap on pot to level but note that, you just get +2 agi bonus in this class and aspd penalty for two-hand is -5. If you want to be an agi knight, you want to kill fast not evade attack.

 

3. Merchant is expensive and the slowest (depending on your zeny)

Thank you for the answers, I advance step by step in the game now I am a Knight with a Base Lvl. 66 and Job Lvl. 24 my following stats :
STR : 52 +5

AGI : 60 +2

VIT : 5 +8

INT : 1

DEX : 45 +3

LUK : 1 +2

HP : 4477

SP : 240

 

I am willing to become a Lord Knight, from that wiki irowiki.org/wiki/Lord_Knight it is said that you must reach at least Job Lvl. 40 as a Transcendent First Class character, how can i change from Knight to a Transcendent First Class ? And please explain it clearly my game knowledge isn't that good.

You need to reach base level 99 to transcend.

additionally it is highly recommended that you reach the max job levels as 1-1 transcendent; changing at 40 on the dot is not recommended since those job skills are lost forever.  same for as 2nd class transcendent, recommend getting to job 70.

One suggestion that I believe will really help you level up and this become stronger is that you'll want to observe what maps are spotlit. The spotlight this month is Comodo. I believe for your level you can train on the Hydras and Thara frogs for significant exp. The reason you want to hunt at the spotlit map is because it has a 2x Experience and Drop rate bonus. This is on top of the 1.5x modifier that is going on this week and will stack on top of VIP bonuses as well if you are a VIP.

So for example at levels 38-45 the Thara Frog's experience is 311. That's amplified to 622 (Spotlight bonus), then 933 (week's 1.5x event), and then a whopping 1,400 (VIP) if you're VIP. An agi knight should be weening off those potions soon enough at those monsters. Not to mention you'll be leveling plenty fast and even collecting decent loot to sell.

Edit: noticed you're lvl 66 now. My same advice, except you'll want to find the map with Groves. They're the next higher level step to train at and will give huge exp. enjoy

Try sky petits.(lvl 79 i think),just go two maps west of geffen.With the dragon helm quest still ongoing,you can sell the dragon parts that drop from them(scales,dragon tail)for some money.

judging from the bonus stats, it seems you haven't gotten the event shadow set yet, it's a nice set until oct 1 that will give you +10 to all stats. it should help you out, even if you don't upgrade the set. (i'd upgrade the shadow weapon though.) also, mentioned above my post is the dragon quest in amatsu, frequent that for some nice exp and the headgear ain't bad if you plan to level on petites.

Also, you should not pump dex any further than 50. Youre an AGI Knight, and mine is around level 81 with i believe almost 80 AGI. STR seems fine, but your VIT is lacking. After you got agi up to atleast 80 or more, get STR up to around 70ish and the rest to VIT. Thats what i would do, but hey i could be wrong.
