So, I noticed that the staff made the Enchantment scrolls for transferring the sub-stats of an item to another. And It made me think, what else could they do with it and I came to costumes.

I love the costumes in ROSE don't get me wrong, but some are just... "not my style". Like the new drop costumes in the IM.

So would it be possible, to make a scroll that transfers the set bonuses of an item?

Maybe not even just costumes, maybe any set bonus. I think it would be totally rad, if we could build our own sets per say. Like I have a set I plan to use for myself that is some mixed parts of various crafted + dungeon items. But I would so seriously love to have the set bonus for the full dungeon set.

And as for my costume, I like my mix and match styled costume I use in my avatar, and I would love to farm in it with the drop bonuses.

So would it be possible to make a scroll, that checks if you have a full set in your avatar, consumes the set, and saves the set to a scroll. The when you use the scroll, it applies to set bonus to the same matching set avatar slots?

Or even just give each set an "ID", and the enchantment scroll just saves the "ID" of that set, and you can apply it to any equip of the same type. Like head to head, chest to chest etc. Then I think the game would be able to simply check if the set "ID" is fully equipped, instead of going off an Items ID.

It's kinda complicated to describe I think, but I also think is would be "the bee's knee's" if we had that much more customization over our equipment.

Thanks,
Iazu.

Pretty good proposal, I do know Leo is was rather against the idea of those king sets but was defeated by his upper managers at the time. So I'm not sure how the king sets would work into it, but I do suppose its possible with this idea to address that as well. Not bad.

I am sorry, but I don't think King/Ancient Royal sets should be included. I do however like the rest of it. It would be nice not to have change costumes to get the set bonuses each month.

I think it would be reasonable to include them, I mean they're equally available to anyone right? So, why not?

Because the method of obtaining them is different.

I don't understand? Can you elaborate on why you feel that the way the costume is obtained should impact their stats being able to be transferred to a costume of the player's liking please?

Most costumes are obtained via, lucky spin, IM purchase, or through an event. The Akram Kingdom and Ancient Royal sets are obtained by gathering the proper medallions. They are unique in that respect. They are, in a sense, the reward for hard work (although most just buy the medallions). Also, those two sets do not have a drop/exp passive, they have stat passives. IF they would implement a costume bonus enchantment scroll, then they should have the same restrictions, i. e. IM -> IM, or event -> event..

I thought there was an Exalted set that gave drop bonuses? Is there not any in-game sets that give EXP bonus to farm? Even if it's from an event?
I think if there isn't they should make some, like how the pirate event stuff could be given a costume Exp Bonus, then there would be all kind of options and it wouldn't be required to spend IM? Then you would agree?

I think the "old" exalted sets do have a drop bonus on them, maybe xp also, I am not sure.
