you only get credit if you get the killing blow; you could have inflicted 99% dmg on the monster but if some guy walks onto screen and does an AoE you don't end up with the count; you would end up with the bulk of the exp but that's it...

 

you've just been lucky enough to get the last hit most of the time.

 

wrong there were times that people has attacked my mob like arrow storm and i got the kill count for it.

Last week i was lvling a master smith and a rk did IB on it he killed the monster but the pop up came with the kill count that i got.

Have you never seen two people hit a Poring at the same time? Who ever had the hit that technically killed the thing gets the count. NOT who deals the most damage.

I'm not arguing that grimtooth is a valid mob skill and sins have a right to use it, I'm saying it's not wise or particularly effective to use it in a mobby map where monsters will aggro onto the player who is not in hide. 

 

Things that happen:

 

- Mob goes on me, I see grimtooth spikes, wing away in disappointment

- Mob goes on me, I'm busy with my own stuff, sin kills mine along with his

- Some guy with bowling bash just kills everything and runs off, leaving a sad sin

- Sin starts to grimtooth, but mob sees me and runs out of range

 

Things that don't happen:

 

- Grimtooth user gets full credit for his mob, nobody gets KSed or frustrated, all are happy
