Hi Guys,

 

I am just wondering about the future of this game? are there going to be new skills? new classes or new features?

 

 What do you guys think?

Well the second gunslinger class will come out somewhere in the future...dunno about features, i already like it as it is. KANPAI FOR ANOTHER 10 YEARS!!!....i hope.

iRo is missing a lot of content and still awaiting on kRo to send in the patches. You can find a good checklist about the future content here. Also you can have a look at iRo wiki kRo news section here to get a general idea of what's being added/changed in the game.

but seriously i dont see it closing god forbid in the near future.

this game has been going since 2003 for porings sake....and fits a classic, cute-addicted, anime'ish niche group of midgardians.

 

 As long as the money keeps flowing in, please support this game so I can keep wearing cute hats and pretending to be a girl RK and get free stuffz.

so many Kafra Shop gears now equippable by anyone with level restriction of 1. 1/1 novice using full enchanted FAW, RWC weapon-ring-pendant combo, shadow gears. what's next?

A few years after I 150'd my Rebellion, then iRO may close as much as they want.

A lot of people thought RO was going to nosedive when Renewal hit.

 

4 years later, we're still here :S

 

Oh, and when Comodo hit. And when Juno hit. And that period of like 16 months where we got no content updates whatsoever.

The future of this game; only scientistic can predict what is going to happen with this pit hole full of KITTENS. His dialogues will be missed, that's for sure.

The thing with the new 3D MMORPGs coming out is that they seemed to have become very similar to each other. Yea, sure... some games are point-and-click and some are WASD, but still there are some similarities that, personally, have made 3D MMORPGs boring for me.

 

RO, on the other hand, has continued to stay unique. Additionally, the nostalgic effect that it gives off to old players like me is another factor.

 

With that, I do believe that RO still won't be closing down in the next few years (not iRO, at the very least). Not to be a suck up or anything, but the management here in iRO has been doing well in maintaining the game (just please don't screw up along the way by making the game more of a pay-to-win thing). The community, of course, contributes to the games longetivity too -- and I can see that despite having some douchebags here and there, the community here is decent enough.

lol..are you a prophet perhaps? i'm a player of 3 years , and i have seen a lot of people claiming Ro won't survive another one year..didn't happen so far.

 

I don't think they will let the player base ever feel that servers will get closed,even if its going to.Better enjoy while you can i guess.

kRO already have it in their item database, all safe cert up to +20

Yea, I think that RO is too unique to close shoppe anytime soon.

 

I hate 99% of all new MMO, esp 3-D.(RO2...) If you make an isometric game, I will likely try it, but RO1 is the king of it's style.
