[Exuro]

There's also this 3D MMORPG thing of being too instance-based. If you want to be alone or only be with a few people most of the time, then multiplayer games might suit you more. I find it boring to only see the online aspect of the game inside towns and cities, as opposed to having everything in the open world.

 

RO does have some instance maps, and it is a cool feature as long as not every dungeon in the game is instance-based.

The only way i see RO players decline and the game to do poorly is that in maybe 2-4 years Terms of Service will come out and if its good, ppl will play the real RO2...

It's pretty obvious by now that Gravity is banking on RO's unique graphics to keep people around. They've made little efforts to optimize the underlying programming and improve the overall game to properly retain players and increase profits.

I don't generally hate how they recycle the graphic (I haven't noticed about it until my friend actually talked about Demonic Fire recently).

But those broken facts about Rebellion actually made me sad.

RO has its nice little niche, and a pretty solid player base, even if it's relatively smaller compared to some other games. I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon.

Maintenance will keep adding one more hour to their schedule. Eventually maintenance will take six to seven hours or more for everyone to log back on and resume.

 

Next thing you know next maintenance will be 24 hours.

I dont remember that well anymore but i think it was Panty&Stocking with Aikawa. Or maybe Toaru majutsu no Aikawa? Ah, maybe Serial Experiments Aikawa..? I dunno anymore but it definetely wasnt Aikawa la Aikawa or Gekkan Shoujo Aikawa-kun. Joke, its from Kuro-_-suji...x__x

RO has atleast another 10 years of life left in it. There are still too many old players that linger back (like myself) to test the waters and see if anything has gotten better. If anything they will hit a big boom. If I owned Gravity I wouldn't have made RO2 so far astray from the original. RO1 was a pretty good success imo.

 

Also, I think iRO needs a fresh server reboot imo. The game is only fun up to a certain point of competition. When someone has an army of characters at each timed MVP, WOE's are always one sided and boring, it's time to just start a new server. I think a server with all MVP cards banned would be pretty awesome. Then again I haven't played this game in ages. Just passing time while the updates install. /meh

Actually, if that would fix most of the bugs in game, and brings many fresh updates, I don't really mind having 24hr maintenance once in a while  :|
